Stay on the main street of a genuine Aussie farming town, in a beautiful garden setting. Stay in comfort in a self-contained apartment, on the main street in town. It has its own entrance, to a living/dining room, with a separate kitchen off to one side, and a separate bedroom and en suite bathroom. The bedroom sleeps two, and a fold out couch is in the living room for an extra guest. The living room looks out to the garden property.
Fully furnished, digital tv/dvd player, crockery, cutlery, oven, microwave, fridge, off street parking space. Spend time in the garden, use the pool in summer. Wifi access available. Milk, eggs and bread available for late arrivals, great cafes and supermarket close by for everything else.
There is a washer and dryer in the main house which can be used by arrangement for a small charge.
The main house is above the garden apartment, and hosts Andrew and Howard will be in residence to welcome you and fill you in on what's good to do and see in town. Your apartment is completely private, with a separate entrance.
No minimum stay, but each visit incurs a $40 cleaning charge.
Because noise travels upwards, remember the people living upstairs. No smoking inside, no pets inside, and dogs on a leash if they're likely to dig up a garden.
I work in Sydney during the week and spend weekends at home in Dungog. With my partner Andrew, we're active in the local community, and spend way too much time in the garden. I have traveled extensively around Australia, and continue to be on the road for work quite often. Once a year I go further afield, usually to North America these days, but open to other ideas.
