I'm really sorry about the bad experience of out guest, he probably didn't read our listing nor checked the map, which shows where the apartment is located. It is a Villa just outside Rapallo and S.Margherita Ligure, so everyone can see that it is not very close to the beach or city centre by walking, even so, there is a bus stop just few meters away from our property that reaches Rapallo's centre in only few minutes. For guests using a car it's a much more comfortable experience, since it has its own parking place right in front of the apartment, that is why we wrote in our listing that it is highly recommended to use a car to reach our property.
Another demonstration that our guest did not read our listing before making a reservation is the complain about the air condition, which is clearly written that is missing, but since it's a villa with a beautiful garden in front of it and it is outside the city, it is usually very windy and when the weather is not, inside the apartment there are 5 fans.
The "old kitchen" is exactly the one shown in the pictures, as it is the rest of the apartment. I guess our guest refers to a gas kitchen as "old" because it was not electric.
As written before, the Villa that compose the 2 floors we manage is outside cities, and unfortunately bugs are frequent in country areas.
We informed our guests about WIFI several days before they reached our property and told them what kind of connection each one had, unfortunately ADSL is still quite common in Italy, and it is not known as a very fast connection.
Since we understood the discomfort of our guests we proposed them to switch property with the other one we have, but they insisted to leave our property. We decided to make an exception and agreed with them a complete refund of the last two days, even if it was against Airbnb cancellation policies, so they did not "run away after the first night", but they rather realized their mistake and tried to get back as much money as possible, and leave a bad review even if basically they didn't read our listing and received refund for their own mistake.
