In the shadow of the Gravensteen castle, in the very historic centre of Ghent City… It’ll be hard to find a better location for your stay in Ghent. Den Augustijn is right across the street of the Carmelite Monastery, nowadays an exhibtion hall. From your room, you look at the Patershol area, the oldest part of Ghent, dating back to the 18th century.
B&B Den Augustijn is not what you’d expect from a regular B&B. It doesn’t stand for Bed and Breakfast, but for Bed and Bike. We offer every guest a free bike to expore the city of Ghent. Because we think the bike is a perfect way to discover Ghent and because there are some many nice places in Ghent to enjoy your breakfast. Our personal preferee is “Simon Says” just across the corner of Den Augustijn. A cosy, comfortable and well-located breakfast & coffee bar, just as Den Augustijn.
The room has a double bed, a bath, a lavabo, tv and free internet.
