Remote and quiet, the old farmhouse offers cosy comfort with majestic views and stunning walks on the doorstep.
Kinton sits on its own ridge overlooking a small valley. The nearest neighbours are a mile away so apart from the occasional tractor, there is no man made noise or light pollution to detract from the peace or the star gazing. There's been a farm here for centuries but the exact age of the house is unknown.
The border between Wales and Shropshire is the place for space and freedom.
There has been a farm here for several hundred years. The house (at the end of a mile long track) is very old and occupies a position overlooking a secluded valley that reaches from 'the Callow' to the north, Corndon Hill to the east and Chirbury to the west.
This is my Home and i offer guests Bed and breakfast when they come to stay and there are several pubs and restaurants within an easy drive for supper. In Montgomery there is The Chequers which boasts a michelin star, but you would need to book.
I believe in casual cosy comfort and i do my best to extend a welcoming atmosphere and comfortable accommodation to all my guests.
The House has 2 interconnecting bedrooms, a double and a double with extra single bed. There is a bath room, and separate w.c. A sitting room with TV and log burner. The cosy kitchen where you can make hot or cold drinks and prior arrangements can be made if you would like me to provide supper.
Outside there is a well appointed patio with far reaching views where you can have breakfast (weather permitting) and several acres of garden in which to sit and read, snooze and just generally lazy around in.
This is my home and i will be living here (with my 2 dogs) during your stay, but i will be around for as much or as little as you want.
There is plenty of parking but you will need your own transport, I am 2.5 miles from the nearest village.
I would hope my guests would treat my home with the respect that i would treat theirs. I don't have hard and fast rules about smoking but not in the bedrooms please.
Hello! I'm Frankie and I'm lucky enough to live on what i think is one of the most beautiful hills on the edge of Wales. I walk, fish, travel a lot and I love to cook and entertain my friends. Airbnb gives me the chance to share this beautiful spot with others who will hopefully appreciate it as much as I do - I look forward to welcoming you to my home....
Please email/call me with any questions you may have.
