1 storey garden cottage with one bedroom with double bed, one bathroom, open plan kitchen living, one sofa pull out double bed - located beside Rathmines Village. The studio is to the rear of Leinster Road and accessed by a mews lane. Fast Wifi of course, no TV.
One large bedroom with queen size bed and one hanging storage and drawers.
There is also the possibility for a 3rd and 4th guest to stay on a sofa bed in the livingroom.
Full bathroom with bath and electric shower.
Livingroom has free-standing wood burning stove (free wood in shed) with robust bespoke custom-made kitchen and appliances including dishwasher, washing machine, fridge freezer, oven, hob etc.
Garden is a large landscaped yard with parking and patio area for cottage and guests also have access to a large side garden with sunny platform and veggies and flowering plants. Still a work in progress, it's in early planting stage so perfect but getting there. 3 car park spaces. The garden is a shared space with the main house which will be in use from the End of July.
Open access all areas except storage room in corridor. The garden is shared with the main house come end of August. My husband has a work man shed in the side garden. The side garden and car yard are very spacious.
We will meet and greet guests and give overview of area and recommend great restaurants and shows. No we will not be present during stay. If away ourselves our next door neighbor Madjic acts as host.
The location is in the south city residential Dublin 6 area and is perfect for a real Dublin Experience, walking distance to lots of food places, Ranelagh, Rathgar, Harold's Cross, Terenure, Camden Street, Portobello and easy to visit Dublin's culture, shopping and sightseeing.

The 16A (Euro 2.90 single) goes to/ from the Airport to Harold's Cross Road (Takes time. 1 hr plus) 10 minutes walk.
Taxi to/from Airport circa €20-25
The 747 (Euro 7 single, 10 return) goes from Airport to Dame Street/ Christchurch.

From January 2015 - August 2015 we rent the garden cottage on short weekend lets while we finish a renovation job on the main house. Come September it will be available for longer stays and we will have two more airbnb rooms in the house which will be available and added to the listings. The garden and car yard are shared with the main house. The cottage has its own private porch area and lots of shared space in the side garden.
