Lovely small, but perfectly formed ground floor 1 bedroom flat. Centrally located just a couple minutes from the seafront, it's an ideal base for exploring Brighton for one or two guests.
I frequently travel for work and fun and prefer to stay in other airbnb apartments. So, I know what's important: cleanliness, a great shower, a comfy bed, reliable internet and, of course, an awesome location.
The flat is on the ground floor of a typical Brighton terrace and consists of one bedroom, a kitchen/living room and a shower room. It's a perfect cozy fit for one or or two guests.
To maximise space, I've taken the doors off the living room and bedroom, so although it's a one bedroom apartment, it's a bit more open plan. There is of course a door on the bathroom!
In the bedroom: There's a comfortable double bed with feather down duvet, two pillow options (down or synthetic), and throws and cushions for lounging.
There's an entire double wardrobe and lots of hangers free just for you, so you don't have to live out of your suitcase. The doors are mirrored, so you can check yourself out before you head out the door (also: mirror selfies). An extra blanket is in the wardrobe for picnics on the beach.
Towels and bed sheets are provided of course. I'm passionate about good linens so you won't find any tatty towels or dodgy bedsheets here!
There's a full sized hair dryer, a mini pair of straighteners and a hair curler too. Also here for you - iron and ironing board, tower fan, dehumidifier.
The book shelves have space for your things by the bedside and lots of art & design, fashion and craft books for you to peruse. The back window faces on to the sweet little garden of the flat underneath.
The living room has a small sofa, rocking chair and a couple of foot stools for you to rest your feet after long days walking the city. There's a kitchen area to cook with a full sized gas hob and oven/grill, dishwasher, kettle, toaster and a Nescafe coffee pod machine. There's a fridge freezer and plenty of cooking utensils so you can cook up a storm. You're very welcome to use anything that's here, so help yourself to tea/coffee/sugar, spices, condiments, oils and of course the sweets jar!
The shower room has an awesome shower and underfloor heating. There's shampoo, conditioner and shower gel as well as a basket of emergency toiletries in case you've forgotten anything.
There's a washer dryer just opposite the bathroom.
The flat is installed with a smart heating system (a Tado) for when the days get cold and the whole place has LED lights for energy efficiency, so no need to sit in the dark!
Please note that there isn't a TV in the flat. I presume these days most people travel with a device to watch their own stuff, plus I'm sure you'll be too busy getting out and exploring everything that Brighton has to offer :)
You've got the whole flat, nothing is off limits.
I'll be here to check you in and I'm always available for any questions or recommendations, but other than that, I'll stay out of your hair!
Though we are on a quiet residential street, at the weekend passing revellers can get a bit rowdy and loud at night! Ear plugs are provided, of course.
No smoking in the flat, please.
As with a lot of period conversion properties sound travels, so please think of the other residents if coming in late at night.
