The guest, Thomas, made a highly misleading comment. It is so obvious but I still want to take a few minutes to clarify the situation for my dear future visitors.
1. Location. “He claimed that it is too far away from the metro station.” —> misleading. First, it is not far away from the metro station, according to the review of other visitors. Visitors can easily check these information. Second, according to his comment, he wants accommodation not far from the metro station. As common knowledge, he knew the location situation when he made the reservation, which implies that he knew it’s not far away from the metro station. Not to mention that he came with a car!
2. Heating system. “He claimed that I cut off the heating during the night.”—> misleading. As common knowledge, here in Paris in September, heating is unnecessary and it will only be provided in winter. How can I cut off the heating during the night while it is not provided?
3. Blood spots —>misleading. No blood spots. How can you imagine there are blood spots everywhere in a house? Just check the other comments of the room (the other visitors before and after thomas stay) and you will see that his comment is misleading.
4. I think now is the moment to show you what happened and you will understand why Thomas made this misleading comment:
Thomas made a reservation of 3 months, so as to be beneficial of the base price. He knew exactly the address. I verified everything with him together during check-in and he said OK (so no blood spots). The next day, he asked me to accept his check-out request right in front of him and right away. For your information, he is tall and strong. He then checked out WITH MY KEYS and asked me for reimbursement! Then he gave me this 1-star bad comment. I don’t make fake stories. All these information is shown in our online conversations and is registered by Airbnb.
I hope my future visitors will not be misguided by this comment.
