Stay in our charming 1930’s home, nestled on a quiet tree-lined street, a short distance from downtown Redwood City.
Our home is a split-level with 3 bedrooms and a full bathroom on the top levels, the living room, dining room and kitchen in the middle area and a large family room, bathroom and multipurpose / laundry room down below. The family room has sliding glass doors that lead to the back yard with a patio area - perfect for outdoor dinners and a large, soothing hot tub - ideal for cool, California nights. The back yard also has a small vegetable garden where you can enjoy fresh berries and vegetables.
We remodeled the house in 2012, completely updating the kitchen and both bathrooms. Refinished hardwood floors and new paint throughout the house. We have central heat and A/C although either neither is often needed.
This house is in an ideal location, a short walking distance from downtown Redwood City as well as the Caltrain Station. This is a wonderful walking neighborhood with cute craftsman homes and friendly neighbors.
We have bicycles available which can take you practically anywhere between San Francisco and San Jose.
Redwood City’s slogan is “Climate Best by Government Test” which is why we live here! Almost every day is gorgeous and aside from the great weather, our recently revitalized downtown Redwood City is full of free outdoor activities – especially in the summertime (ie; Farmers Markets on Saturdays and Tuesdays, dancing lessons on Wednesdays, outdoor movies on Thursdays, and live music on Fridays to name a few!)
Here are a few other nearby locations with their distances:
6 miles to Stanford University
17 miles to the beach in Half Moon Bay
27 miles to downtown San Francisco
70 miles to Napa Valley
We will be available by cell phone during your stay, and we have nearby resources should any needs arise.
