Street Volzhskaya embankment, located in the river Nizhny Novgorod, is one of the three city embankments stretching along the Volga. Its length is a little less than a kilometer, and this is one of the most "young" streets in the city. The area adjacent to the Volga embankment is built up with high-rise buildings. This is a residential quarter, the facades of houses in which are painted with different colors - each level has its own color. When viewed from afar this quarter, it appears that it is composed of colored mosaics, the lower floors are painted with the color of grass and foliage, and the upper ones are painted in blue and blue tones, which symbolizes the color of the sky.
