The Gables Waterfront Apartment is housed in a lovingly restored historic building on the Russell foreshore with 'Reach out and touch the water' views of the bay. The apartment has its own private courtyard entrance. The living, dining and kitchen areas open through french doors onto the balcony terrace, the perfect place for morning coffee or an aperitif before dinner. Swim right outside on the waterfront beach or take your pick of any of the peninsula's other stunning beaches.

The luxuriously appointed apartment is 2 storied, with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Fully furnished with modern appliances, the well equipped kitchen would please any keen chef eager to experiment with the wonderful local seafood and produce.
The large loft bedroom enjoys beautiful views from the kingsize bed, the second bedroom features an original brick chimney feature with 2 single beds which can be zipped together to make a super-king bed.
Character and charm abound in this stunningly spot.

The Apartment is located right in the heart of Beautiful Russell township and placed above one of the areas premier restaurants - The Gables and is an absolute must do dining experience (adequate underfloor insulation and soundproofing is in place to minimise any disturbance during busy periods). Almost everything you could possible require is within walking distance including shops, other restaurants and cafes and various activities on or off the water. Glorious sunsets, yachting, fishing and boat activity, plunging gannets and the occasional dolphin are just a few reasons to enjoy the historic township of Russell.

My husband and I have 3 young children and are lucky enough to call the Bay of Islands our home. I firmly believe when travelling that you truly get to know and appreciate a place so much more when you can stay and experience life like a local. Because of this I love the opportunities that Airbnb can provide for both myself and those staying in the houses I look after.
I take care of several properties in the area and get great enjoyment from meeting new people from all over the world and sharing in their experiences of our beautiful area.
As a family we love to get outside as much as possible. Whether its pottering around home in our garden, heading out to the beach or getting out on the water for some fishing.
