I've been vacationing here for over 30 years, and never tire of the beauty and serenity. The pictures only convey part of the experience, you have to visit in person to feel the magic!
1/2 mile from Mexico hwy 5 on a graded dirt road. The Rio Hardy is on the western edge of the Colorado River Delta....a stopover for migrating birds on the "Pacific Flyway" and a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve.
As much or as little as they want. My home/cabin is approximately 1/4 mile from the guest house. I can guide you around the area or just point you in the direction of your interests.
Kayaks as well as other water and desert toys are available for a fee. Just let me know what interests you. Thousands of acres of open desert for ATV'S, motorcycles, hiking or your favorite off road toy are right out the back door.
Have fun without trashing the place.
I have lived in Newport Beach for over 50 years, and recently purchased a small ecotourism ranch in Northern Baja, Mexico (The Rancho). I spend the majority of my time improving and enhancing the ranch. I was fortunate to grow up in such a beautiful place, with so many activities and access to almost any type of entertainment. When in Newport, I play beach volleyball and spend time with family. I love to travel, and have been to many tropical destinations, as well as multiple trips to Europe and Asia. My Daughter has been on a very long trek around the world, and I was able to meet up with her several times and share some of the adventure.
