Country Hotel - on the way to everywhere - 20mins from Gore - 1 hour from Invercargill - just over an hour from Alexandra. Waikaka has its own local (9 hole) Golf Course Tennis Court. Fishing near by
We have both Hotel rooms with a Single bed $30, each and Cabins with a Queen & Single bed in each $50 plus $10 for the 3rd person. Only our cabins are listed.

Good stopover location towards fjordlands or the southern part of the island. The hosts are super friendly and the food at the pub is really good.

Nice place to stay. The hosts are very careful and the room is clean. Also, the burgers from the kitchen were amazing. Cheers!

Unterkunft ist sehr ländlich gelegen,aber eine gute Option,wenn in Queenstown alles belegt ist und bei Weiterreise ein guter Zwischenstopp zum Übernachten.

Friendly hosts. The accommodation constists of very small very basic cabins with access to a shower/toilet. All these are behind the pub which has excellent burgers.

Glad you enjoyed your stay, sorry about the kitchen, but as we are an operating hotel our kitchen can not be open to the public, we do have a full range of food available 7 days a week for any guest that stay with us.

Excellent place to stay at while traveling from Milford Sound to Dunedin. Short detour from the main road, good in value, clean, quiet place, very good communication host, friendly dog to welcome us too. Love this place, highly recommended.
