No hosts wishes you break the rules, that just makes it harder and gives us a bigger headache to deal with. The rules are clearly written on the page when looking at my listing. It's simple: NO Smoking in the house and NO being loud out back past 10pm. As stated in the listing if you're here to party in LA and come home late to disturb the neighbors, this is NOT the house for you.
Unfortunately your group is the second of the past fifty guests I had to claim the security deposit from.
There's a no smoking rule in the house, and clearly you violated that, there was hookah ash all over the downstairs bedroom. Blood stains on the couch, the house was a mess. But the main issue with your security deposit being forfeited was how loud you guys were after midnight. You guys were out back at 2am being so loud that my neighbor had to call me that late in the morning to notify me. My neighbor said it wasn't just one night but a few nights you guys stayed over and the last night was the final straw when they had to call me to let me know how bad it was. As stated in the rules, if there's a complaint, the security deposit will be forfeited.
I hope with your future stays at other airbnbs to please be more respectful of other people's homes and their neighbors.
