The beach house is close to outdoor adventure. You’ll love it because of the breathtaking views, the peace and tranquility, the walkout waterfront beach, and the connection with nature. Our place is fantastic for singles, couples, families and large groups.
This beautiful rancher has banks of floor to ceiling windows and sliding doors that walk out to the deck that spans the full length of the house. It has rustic wood floors as well as tile and granite and a 20 foot long-table/Island that seats up to 12 for meals. The kitchen has a 5 burner propane cooktop and wall oven, microwave, dishwasher and large fridge/freezer. A second fridge with water and ice dispenser is located off the kitchen on the deck where you will also find an outdoor bar with running hot and cold water and a barbecue. There is a large capacity washer/dryer and sink in the laundry room available for shared use. The bedrooms are large and spacious. The bathroom is complete with tub/shower. There is a 5 person hot tub as well as a fire pit for shared use. The granite stairs take you down to the waters edge where you will enjoy walks on the pebble beach.
Private bedroom and bathroom, shared laundry room, living room and kitchen. For larger groups a second bedroom is available for addition fee per person. We will not rent out the second bedroom to other groups during your stay.

We have a mooring bouy if you want to bring your boat. Our tin row boat is available for transport to shore. The fishing is good in this area and you can set a trap for fresh crab just out in front. Bring your own kayaks, paddle boards, windsurfers etc. We can recommend locals for guided fishing and kayak rentals. There is access to exceptional hiking in the area.
Other things you should bring; life jackets, water shoes, beach towels.

My husband Ken and I are nurses, parents and grandparents who love living on the waterfront in beautiful Powell River. We grew up here and raised our children here. We have kayaked and hiked extensively in this area. We have also traveled (by bicycle) around the world. One of the things we enjoyed most about traveling was meeting people and experiencing other cultures as well as hanging out with other travellers/adventure seekers. We look forward to showcasing our own little paradise and to continue to get to know people from all over the world.
