1890s farmhouse full of light and character on 1.5 acres. Two firm twin beds, variety of pillows, & shared bath upstairs. Access to the common rooms & backyard. Farm fresh eggs, fruit, bread, coffee/tea, & other treats provided each morning.
My home is a work in progress - please understand old homes have quirks! Friendly dog lives here too - please don't book if you have allergies or dislike dogs.

Fall in love with The Vada House, an eclectic 1890s farmhouse that hosts airbnb-ers, as well as occasional workshops and retreats for artists. The owner is a friendly, laid back photographer who loves coffee, good conversation, and being outside.
BATH - private bath unless another guest is also staying in another room at the same time.
The Virginia Room has two twin beds and a window AC unit. It is very peaceful out here with only one neighbor (and they aren't even really close!) Living room has comfortable couch and hammock swing chair, as well as a record player. Kitchen is equipped with a blender, oven, stovetop, espresso machine, Keurig, and food processor.
Breakfast is provided each morning (local eggs, variety of coffee and teas, bread, fruit...if you'd like something else I'm happy to pick it up!). Coffee/tea/seltzer water are available all day. I have a gluten sensitivity so there are options for those who also have an allergy.
Perfect for solo travelers, couples, traveling nurses, fly fisherman, and professionals alike!
Guests are welcome to use and relax anywhere in the house besides my bedroom upstairs (marked private). Sip your coffee outside on the enclosed sun porch, outdoor deck, or in the gardens.
I work from home as a wedding photographer, so I may be around more depending on my schedule, or if you stay during the week as opposed to the weekend. I enjoy talking to people very much and can give any suggestions about the area you may need, but I will not be in your face during your stay.
Overall, I prefer to create a warm environment here where guests feel welcomed.
This is an 1890s farmhouse full of character, wide plank floors, and big windows, but it might not be for everyone! Things to consider before you book:
The shower stall height is right around 6 foot, so anyone who would feel more comfortable using the downstairs bathroom instead is absolutely welcome to. Please just excuse the floral wallpaper (this room is next to renovate!)
There is a dog on property. A darling little lab mutt named June. If you dislike dogs or have allergies, please book elsewhere!
This bedroom does not have an AC unit, however it does include a fan. There is a wonderful breeze that blows through as we are situated on a ridge, but if you prefer a colder environment in the warmer months this is not for you.
The bedroom as well as front door are currently being updated with electronic lock systems, which are keyless and use a code to unlock. This is a much safer and more convenient way to come and go! In the meantime there
are no locks on bedroom doors.
