Welcome to our home in the Haight Ashbury! Our historic home is right in the heart of the "Summer of Love" San Francisco. It is large, comfortable, and tastefully furnished. We're close to the best that San Francisco has to offer: walk to parks, museums, shops, cafes, and restaurants, and at your door step are a number of bus routes to take you anywhere in the city. We're right in between Buena Vista Park, the Panhandle, Cole Valley, and Golden Gate Park.
Our flat is a middle unit, with neighbors above and below, and there are about 20 stairs to reach it. The floors are hardwood with rugs. There's a flat-screen TV with minimal cable and HBO. Beds all have down pillows and down comforters. We've had excellent nights of sleep on all three! This is our home, not a museum piece, but we still ask that you treat it with care.
Guests will have access to the whole home, including the TV, Wi-Fi, laundry, and kitchen appliances (including dishwasher). There's a small "library" of books to read in the Jack-and-Jill powder room.
We'll be out of the country during your stay, but two on-the-ground folks (my sister-in-law and mother-in-law) will be available to help, should the need arise.
