This light and airy villa backs up to a Greenway bike trail; is in an Historic District of beautiful homes from the 1830's to 1930's; is less than a mile from one of Knoxville's largest parks; is quite close to UT and downtown; and has many great shopping and dining options nearby.
This beautiful and historic property was built around 1930 by a former Admiral that wanted his extended family to live together - but all in their own independent spaces. So there are 5 separate residences, but all joined into one building. This particular space (Unit 5) has just been completely renovated and makes one feel immediately comfortable - a great mixture of new furnishings alongside whimsical and eclectic belongings.
You'll have access to the entire unit during your stay, and are welcome to use the small seating area in the garden directly outside the entrance. There is also a significant deck above the garage that is available that entire time, with the stairs found just to the side.
In addition, the Greenway bike trail can be accessed just at the back of the property, with access to the park and downtown in one direction, and shopping and dining in the other.
You may also encounter the family dog while you're there. His name is Jack, and is a Great Pyrenees/Weimaraner mix with a beautiful golden coat. He is as gentle and as friendly as you can imagine, but if he were to bark it would seem a bit big.
I will be available by text or email the entire time. I also enjoy greeting our guests upon arrival and giving them a quick tour, but can appreciate your privacy if that's not something you desire.

I've had the pleasure of working-for or volunteering-with Habitat for Humanity since Hurricane Katrina. Since then, I've led teams to a dozen countries, and have even lived internationally for a couple years.
For some time now it's been a dream of mine to run a small inn, and to greet people from many countries and different backgrounds on a regular basis. And with my travel experience (and attention to detail), I hope to help make your stay memorable.
