For the time of your stay you will become a resident of our 120m² shared flat, with all it's amenities, but without any duties!
We're three rather relaxed people between 25 and 33, and are looking forward to meet you! Everybody is welcome, and we're always in for getting to know new people.
You can relax and rest in your clean and comfortable 16m² room, before exploring Munich from your homebase in the heart of Alt-Schwabing.
Our shared flat is pretty spacious (120m²) and has a wonderful vibe of past times in Alt-Schwabing, also known as the bohemian and artist's quarter.
Old herringbone parquet and stucco throughout the flat leave a flair of it's former grandeur ...even though it has not been renovated in a while and could definitely need a new coat of paint.
Our aged, but functional and cozy kitchen invites as a place to meet and sit together with a cup of tea or a glas of wine. You're welcome to cook and use it as you please.
As it is with shared flats inhabited by people who enjoy their life, don't expect overly tidy shared spaces, but rest assured that cleanliness and hygiene are important to us.
We also have access to a cosy little backyard, which invites (if the weather permits) to take your meals/cup of tea/glass of wine/pitcher of beer outside.
Many points of interest can be reached on foot, and public transportation is just around the corner.
One thing to note is that there is a Club in the basement of our house.
Yes, you read correctly. :) It's not the coolest, hippest, place-to-be club in town, but it can be good for shaking your leg if the need arises. The place is only open Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays, and comes with the tiny downside of you being able to hear muffled music from around 9:00pm to midnight in your bedroom. It's super silent, and most likely would not interfer with your sleep, but it's audible. Just so you know!
You will be privately using your bedroom, and furthermore have access to the following shared spaces:
• huge hallway with a couch
• bathroom with shower/half-size tub, sink, and a toilet
• separate toilet
• laundry room (washer and dryer)
We're three open minded, tolerant and fun loving people (one girl and two guys), who live their lives in the flat. Two of us go to work on weekdays, while the third is still studying.
We will try our best to make you feel at home, and will gladly provide information and directions if needed. Should there be time, we are open to do some sightseeing with you, and (if feasible) you will always be welcome to join in on our past time activities.
We expect you to respect your temporary (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN), by not partying too hard and by not bringing strangers to the flat. We also ask you to look after the room we entrust you with, as well as the shared spaces and utensils.
The rule of thumb here is to leave everything you use in a condition equal or better to how you found it in.
On the other hand, since we're living in the flat, depending on how long and on which days you're staying with us, you might experience us having friends over for dinner, or for a beer or two. If you don't feel like joining in, we will definitely make sure to not annoy you - as that is a huge part of living in a shared flat - and will respect it if you wish for privacy or less noise.
