Featured on HGTV's Beachfront Bargain Hunt (Season 16)! This bright condo has a breathtaking, unobstructed view of Buck Island and Teague Bay's coral reef and stunning turquoise waters. Nestled in a pristine, gated community with a 9-hole golf course, tennis, beach, pool, and award-winning dining, this 1-bedroom, 1.5 bath, stand-alone villa is perfect for a romantic getaway for two or for any individual seeking deep rest or invigorating excursions (or both!). Cheers to your next adventure!
STORM UPDATE: When Hurricane Irma hit the Caribbean in Sept 2017, St. Croix was miraculously blessed to have no major damages. This condo, St. Croix, the airport, etc., are still in peak condition. Our hearts are with all our neighboring islands in the Caribbean who are working to rebuild.
TRAVELER'S INSURANCE: Highly recommended that you acquire this if you want to receive a refund in the case of necessary last-minute cancellations/rescheduling during hurricane season (July 1 - October 31). If the site through which you book your trip doesn't offer it (Airbnb currently does not), your local insurance provider can provide options, and it's generally quite inexpensive.
AC: We've recently installed 2 top-of-the-line mini split air conditioning units, one on each level of our condo, for when you come in from the Caribbean sunshine. This is a luxury; most travelers don't realize that many Caribbean rentals don't have AC or only have a window unit. You'll see what a huge difference these make in your comfort level!
SLEEPING: This 950-square-foot 1BR/1.5BA is best suited for a couple or individual, since the upstairs, while large, is a loft bedroom (no door; voices/noise carry). Since this complex does allow 4 guests in this unit, you could bring 2 children, who can sleep on the air mattresses available in the condo if you'd like: 1 plush Queen Instabed (22 inches high), 1 Queen air mattress, & 1 Twin air mattress.
COOKING: Propane grill outside and ceramic cooktop (2 burners) and countertop oven inside. (The countertop oven is a fully functional oven, perfect for baking yummy rum cakes, casseroles, etc.) Kitchen is fully stocked with dishes, pots, pans, tools, & appliances, including refrigerator/freezer, dishwasher, microwave, blender, crockpot, coffee grinder, French press, and more!
LAUNDRY: This condo has its own washer and dryer.
PETS: So sorry, but no pets!
Guests have full access to all these items in the condo (enjoy!): Recreational items (golf clubs, snorkel gear, fishing poles, coolers, camping chairs, beach towels, etc.), full-sized propane grill on terrace, dishes, appliances (including washer/dryer in unit), coffee/filters, and basic toiletries.
Since we'll be "off island" when you're here, our wonderful rental property manager will assist you with everything you need to make your stay perfect, start to finish! Stephanie can escort you from the airport to the villa, provide driving directions for everywhere from beaches to grocery stores, and even, for a nominal fee, stock your villa with any particular items you'd like to have there before you arrive (groceries, toiletries, etc.).
oasis. noun. "a fertile spot in a desert" or "a pleasant or peaceful area or period in the midst of a difficult, troubled, or hectic place or situation." Our sincere wish is that you find this to be the oasis that provides whatever your soul needs, whether it's deep rest or grand adventure or both!

"Find what brings you joy, and go there." ~Jan Phillips.
A lover of all things outdoors, especially when near the water (hiking, kayaking, snorkeling, fishing, camping, jogging), seeking adventure is a priority. My favorite destinations have always been those evoking great awe and wonder - Alaska was a favorite trip - and those filled with warm sunshine and spellbinding turquoise waters - places like the Florida Keys, Bermuda, and the Caribbean.
My husband and I have lived in the Washington, D.C. area for many years, and we now own a little piece of paradise in St. Croix, part of the US Virgin Islands. We hope guests will enjoy it as immensely as we do! St. Croix is full of breathtaking views (eye-popping turquoise waters!), stunning beaches (24!), an endless variety of activities (bioluminescent bay kakayking, charter fishing, touring the rain forest, historic sugar plantation tours, botanical gardens, snorkeling at Buck Island, and more!), welcoming smiles from everyone you meet, and unparalleled peaceful serenity. Cheers to your next adventure!
