The kitchen is dated and tired (in contrast to the rest of the flat, which is recently decorated) but is perfectly functional, with all the usual things you'd expect such as a fridge freezer, gas cooker, microwave and washing machine, as well as some nice appliances and features such as a nutribullet, aeropress and coffee grinder. There is some home made muesli, milk and a range of hot drinks available for guests. The pans and knives are high quality.   Very comfortable and quiet bedroom. Black out curtains

This is a lovely, quiet and homely flat right on the historic quayside of Exeter, which is only a short walk from the city centre.

Most of the flat has been decorated over the last year and is clean, bright and very comfortable.

I live in the flat for half of the time (it is available the rest of the time/ always exclusive use), so my belongings are in the flat, but the flat is quite minimalist and very tidy.

From the flat you can enjoy the garden, tv, wifi, homemade muesli and fresh coffee.

This is a lovely, quiet and peaceful flat right on the historic quayside of Exeter, which is only a short walk from the city centre.

Decorated throughout over the last year (apart from the kitchen, which is perfectly functional but rough around the edges) the flat is clean, bright and very comfortable.

I live in the flat for half of the time (the flat is available the rest of the time i.e. It is always vacant/ I am not there when it is available) so my belongings are in the flat, but the flat is quite minimalist and very tidy.

The bedroom has black out blinds, a very comfortable bed (new mattress), and the softest carpet you've ever set foot on. There is an empty drawer available for guests and some wardrobe space in a separate walk in wardrobe/ storage room.

The bathroom is small but has a bath and shower. There are towels and toiletries available for guests.

The living/ dining room is south facing, opening out through double doors straight onto a nature reserve next to the River Exe. There is Wifi and a brand new TV. There is a very comfortable 3 seater futon, dining table and chairs. There are also meditation cushions (if anyone is so inclined?!) The double doors also open out onto a small, private lawned garden with a large picnic bench.

There also happens to be a range of fitness equipment, which guests are very welcome to use, such as kettle bells, resistance bands, battle ropes (?!) a medicine ball, rings, foam roller, mat etc.

Should there be any accidents or emergencies, there are fire extinguishers, a fire blanket and first aid kit, all of which are brand new.

There is a parking permit, which guests are very welcome to use. There is no designated parking space but the permit is valid for any of the 4 car parks within the Shilhay estate. I have never failed to find a space but I can NOT guarantee a space! There is however the 'cathedral and quay' multi-storey very close by as a fall back option.

The very attractive quayside is a wonderful place to visit cafes, pubs and restaurants, or to hire bikes, kayaks or canoes to explore further afield. There is also a theatre, climbing centre, antique centre and some shops. It is also only a 10 minute walk to the city centre, or around a 30 minute walk to the university.

The flat is suitable for one or two people who want a comfortable, quiet, homely space from which to enjoy anything which Exeter has to offer, from a central location on Exeter's quayside. It is also well suited for business travellers. Due to the risk to disturbing neighbours, it is unfortunately not suitable for events or parties.

Guests are welcome in all the rooms in the flat. Guests have exclusive use of the flat i.e. It is entirely vacant when it is available to guests

I am available at any time and respond quickly to emails, texts and phone calls. If I cannot answer a phone call then I will return the call asap.

As I am away when the flat is available (the flat is fully vacant), there is a 'self check in' arrangement. There is a key safe which I provide the code for, so that guests can let themselves in.

If there is a problem which needs urgent attention during a guests stay then I will arrange for someone to visit the property to deal with the issue.

My boyfriend and I stayed here for two nights and it's a cozy place in a fantastic location. Walking distance to the water and many restaurants. Everything was clean and Harvey left clear notes for us and communicated well. We had a great stay!

Harvey's flat is clean and comfortable, with a comfy bed, well-equipped kitchen, and large TV with broadband. Harvey is welcoming and excellent at communicating. He even left little guest toiletries. The location is amazing; just down the street from the quay and a short walk to the cathedral and historic center.

This was our first time using airbnb so we had no idea what to expect but we were pleasantly surprised. Harvey's flat is clean and comfortable, plus it is in a great location next to the Quay, close to town and the university.

This is very nice little place right in the middle of the city with everything that is Exeter easily found within 15minutes. That flat is absolutely as it is advertised; very clean, well organised and Harvey has considered and accommodated so many personal details from stuff in the fridge to spare towels, bedding, and a flashlight to use in finding the key - and the car park pass. We enjoyed our stay enormously. Many thanks to Harvey - the invisible host

Harvey's place is in a great location to get into central Exter. We stayed for 2 nights as we were attending festival at Powderham castle and was a perfect location to get the train from St Thomas station! The apartment was really clean and communication with Harvey was easy. I would definitely recommend stayed at Harvey's place, ideal if you want to stay close to central Exter but want to get to the coast easily! Thanks again, Daniel & Ellis
