A single/twin room with shared guest bathroom in our riverside family home. We have recently renovated and extended our home to make the most of fantastic river and city views from the living room, the room has quirky styling and a great location with off road parking. It is a 10 minute flat walk to the centre, with Sydney Gardens and the Holborne museum just 5 minutes away. Easy access to the Kennet and Avon canal for some lovely walks and cycling... and even loan of our canoe or kayak!
Quirky rooms with 100% linen bedding, quiet leafy area just minutes from centre, relaxed attitude, access to the river and local countryside. For a relaxed Bath stay come to us! After a.busy day of sight seeing you can escape and recharge, ready to explore another day.
Guests have a first floor single or twin bedroom(2nd bed can pack away for single travellers) accessed from a communal hallway. The bedroom has shared access to the beautiful shower room opposite with one other guest room. Please see my other listings if you would like to book both rooms as a group. Discounts apply!! Continental breakfast will be laid out from 7:30am and guests are welcome to help themselves to tea and coffee at any time in the kitchen. If you would like to have breakfast down by the river or an evening beer in the garden that is fine, but we ask that you be quiet in the evenings to avoid waking the children. Anybody who does wake the children will be given the task of getting them back to sleep!
You will be staying in a busy family home with our two small girls. You can interact as much or as little as you like at breakfast time - we eat at 7am so anything after this should hopefully be more peaceful for you, but we ask that you do not use the garden before 7pm when we put the children to bed. Please feel free to ask us for advice or ideas on your stay, or for any help with planning. I am generally around during the day and happy to help if I can.
Although the house is largely complete, we are still working on some aesthetic features and so if something appears a little rough (i.e. missing a bit of skirting board somewhere random) we apologise. We are working on it! This property runs down to the River Avon. Although there is a gate part way down the garden, if you are staying with children you will need to bear this is mind, we do not recommend you allow children near the river unsupervised. Parking for two cars is available on the driveway, or you can ask for parking permits on road if these are taken

My husband John and I moved to Bath in 2013 after having our first child. Having previously moved and travelled for work, and having taken years off to travel the world in our beloved Landrover (he made it overland to Australia), we chose to finally settle and start family life in Bath.
We are both engineers with a love for design, travel and exploration, and a newly found passion for gardening(!) after turning the wasteland at the back of our house into a beautiful garden.
We have two daughters, aged 3 and 5 and currently spend our lives renovating our house, landscaping the garden and dreaming of finishing the DIY so we can do a little more cycling, reading, crafting, kayaking, travelling....
We spend whatever spare time we have exploring locally and would love to share some of our favourite spots with you.
