Our Yurt hut is situated in the rolling hills of Wales. On a 18th century smallholding, 1200ft up in the Cambrian mountains. Sitting in its own private valley, with 24 acres of forest - ancient trees, little streams, natural gardens and adjoining 2000 acres of heather-clad moorland. A peaceful, and quiet location with sounds of bird songs and nature. Great for nature lovers and romantic getaways- furry friends welcome.

ที่พัก

Our Yurts are situated across the valley from facilities, around a 4 minute walk form kitchens, bathrooms showers, wifi cafe, dining spaces, and parking. So please make sure that this is acceptable for you. We have a vehicle to help with luggage across to the accommodation. When the weather is plus around 25 degrees the yurts do also get very hot during the day. There is a 24 foot decking and hammock and table to relax on and around, and you are welcome to use any of the facilities across the valley too. There is plenty or storage space under the bed which lifts up on a hydraulic system.

Hi there!

Below are the directions to get here. It may be easiest for you to follow your satnav to Knighton or Clun and then pick up directions below from there. Satnav does not reliably take you to us! Not least because reception much past Knighton dips and then becomes pretty non existent.
Upon arrival if I happen not to here you come please come and knock on the kitchen door of the house at the top.

My postal Address is: Llethrau farm, Felindre, Knighton, Powys, LD71YT

DIRECTIONS TO LLETHRAU FARM FROM M40/M5 - From the South East or West, the Midlands and Worcester: [take the M40 to Birmingham and then the M42 towards the M5 South]. You will need junction 5 of M5. At the next roundabout, take the A4133 to Ombersley. Head for Holt Heath and drive toward Little and Great Witley. Keep going along this road. You are heading toward Tenbury Wells; do not turn into the village but keep going toward Little Hereford. Keep going toward the A49. At the junction of the A49 (Leominster to Shrewsbury) turn right toward Ludlow. Do not go into Ludlow but keep going on this busy A road over a few roundabouts. 2 miles after Ludlow, the Ludlow Food Centre is on your right. Just after this, take a left turn toward Knighton - A4113. Keep going for about 10 miles, you will eventually travel down hill through the village of Leintwardine. When you have crossed over the river, take the first right to Knighton. Go via Bramptom Bryan and keep going into Knighton on the A4113. [Just before you reach Knighton is the last time you will have a phone signal should you want to call us]. When you reach the town, stay on the main street, travelling up hill and past the clock tower. At the top of the hill, take the turn to the right for Newtown/Beguildy, the B4355. Keep travelling along this valley road through various villages, through Beguildy and on to Felindre. AFTER Felindre along the main road, take the second turning on the right. The first turning is marked 'Anchor 3' (you will have previously passed a sign for 'Anchor 5' ). The second right hand turn is a small lane travelling downhill, and to the right. There is a sign on the left hand side of the road saying the Llethrau. After about 1.8 miles you will reach a farmyard with farmhouse on the right. This farm is called Medwalleth, and there are lots of dogs in kennel here! After the farmhouse there is a hay barn, on your right; opposite this is a gateway leading to another gate and a cattle grid turning left into the yard. There is a sign saying ‘Llethrau’ and pointing left on the hay barn. Turn left, through the gate, through the yard, and follow the track onwards for 500 metres or so. You will see a tree ahead with the sign 'LLETHRAU' nailed to it. Take a right here, as signed, and follow this track  onwards towards your destination. Go down through a little ford/stream, and up through the gates into the property.  Come right up to the top.

DIRECTIONS TO LLETHRAU FARM FROM THE NORTH/M6 - Take junction 10a onto M54, along here, past Telford, it becomes A5 to Shrewsbury, this is about 10 miles. At Shrewsbury, take A49 to Craven Arms. At Craven Arms central roundabout, turn right signposted to Clun, along the B4368. (Possibly last point to call us if you need to).At Clun, about 6 miles, travel into the village, past garage on th Turn immediately right on the A4368 toward Newcastle/Anchor. After about 4 miles, through Newcastle village, keep going toward Anchor. Travel past the Anchor Inn, keep going down hill and around two sharp bends (over a bridge and a wooded area). Take the next narrow turn on left (signed ‘Llethrau’), travel downhill and keep going round some small sharp bends, past 2 farms and then uphill to a T-junction Turn sharp right (keep on going until the T-junction! - signed ‘Llethrau’ right). Keep going you will reach a farmyard with farmhouse on the right. This farm is called Medwalleth, and there are lots of dogs in kennel here! Wow... what a very special place and experience. Time is not measured by the clock here, rather by the passing of clouds and the changes in light and temperature within the valley....total relaxation! Such care and attention has been put in to create a wonderful retreat. The yurt we stayed in was beautiful. Secluded, surrounded by lush vegetation, with a wood burning stove and a very comfortable bed with white cotton bed linen and a cosy welsh blanket...and a short, beautiful walk along a track through the valley to luxurious facilities. Tomas was a perfect host; warm, generous and accommodating throughout our stay. Tomas's delightful dog Rodeo was equally warm and generous! Thank you Tomas, we look forward to coming back soon.

We have had such a wonderful weekend break. It truly was unreal lying in a hammock under the shooting stars! We have had a much needed peaceful weekend. Very clean, host was very welcoming, fab place to have a walk around.

My name's Tom, I've set up this glamping/holiday cottage venture in the lovely welsh hills ... hoping that you come and visit. A lovely site to come and chill, relax and unwind in. Safe, peaceful and in a beautiful secret valley - I think its heaven up here. Hope you do too. If you would really like to come and can't afford the prices - email me and I'll see if I can't make the odd exception. Thanks. Tom
