The place is near Adabraka Police Station and Melcom. It is a brand new apartment, it is very central and ideally situated for business travellers or interns. The property has only been completed in July 2017 and comes fully furnished including kitchenette.
The brand new one bedroom apartment offers broad band internet access and AC. Furniture and fittings were chosen with an African feel for a comfortable home in mind. Therefore we've used 'all local' products where possible.
There are in total 3 apartments in the building and you will have your own entrance. There are no shared amenities.
Please generally inform us about your EXPECTED ARRIVAL time especially if you're arriving AFTER 20h (8pm). If you're travelling by plane please provide flight details so that we can check for delays. Against a small charge we can arrange pick-up from the airport. We maintain our office in the same building and we'll usually be around during day time. Our home is approx. 20 minutes away from this location. There is a 24/7 security and caretaker at the compound and you'll be given our phone number for any emergency may there arise one.
Cash deposit of USD100 is payable upon arrival. It will be fully refunded upon proper hand-over of the apartment on check-out date. Cost for electricity in the apartment and petrol for the generator during outage times will be charged to the guests as per consumption. 'The city never sleeps' and therefore as for any trip to Ghana we recommend to carry earplugs on you to make sure that you'll be able to enjoy restful sleep whenever YOU need it. IMPORTANT- If you are a first time visitor then it is very important to note that NOBODY (this includes taxi drivers) in Accra is familiar with street names. The blue signs indicating street names are a very recent development and may help you to find your way around, however, they are totally alien to locals. Therefore please make sure that when using public transport/ taxis you use landmarks rather than addresses when describing your destination, e.g. for our apartment's location: Adabraka (area), near Adabraka Police Station and Melcom (department store). That is enough. Once you get to the Police Station we will either pick you up or you direct the way using a detailed description which we will send with the confirmation of your booking (Please print and carry it on you when you travel!).
- Most importantly you should arrive safely and feel at home! Consequently please treat our place with the same care as you would your own. If despite all care something breaks please inform us as soon as possible. We'll try to find a reasonable replacement/ solution. Same goes for anything missing (as this place is brand new). We shall meet you personally on your arrival to show you around and hand-over keys to the apartment. You have unlimited access 24/7. The apartment is self-contained and there are no cleaning intervals during your stay, unless you specifically request those. We'd kindly ask you to keep the space tidy. The final cleaning will be done by us when you leave. This is a NON-SMOKING facility. However, you can easily step on the balcony if you do want to smoke. Ghana is a country of frequent electricity outages. We are providing back-up for those hours as much as is reasonably possible. Please note that the use of AC will not be possible during outage times. Water and electricity are limited resources in Africa. Please make sure that devices are turned off when you leave the premises especially the ACs. Please note that over-night guests other than those who have booked the apartment must be registered with us BEFORE their stay and are subject to an additional charge (as indicated in our ad). We'll be happy to welcome you! Check-in: 3PM - 10PM Check-out: 10AM
