Available select weekends. On Lake Chatuge in Hiawassee, this is best for couples who are going to a concert or want to spend a special weekend at a lakefront home enjoying the gorgeous views! This is a private room, with a bathroom dedicated to you, but it's not ensuite so you'll take 3 steps from the bedroom to the bathroom via the hallway. Includes access to the living room and outdoor deck upstairs with amazing vistas. The first floor may have other guests in a separate suite.
Just 2.4 miles from the Fairgrounds and right on Lake Chatuge in Hiawassee. The room was painted in March 2017, along with the bathroom. The house sits on a point so the views of lake and mountains will leave you in awe because there's a 180-degree plus vista. Common spaces include the living room and the upstairs deck. Downstairs is not included as we are likely to have guests in that suite, but you can still enjoy getting in the lake for swimming and watching the sunrise or sunset from the deck.
Guests will share the area upstairs with the owners. You'll have limited access to the kitchen, plus full access to the living room and upstairs deck. Kitchen access includes microwave, refrigerator, coffee pot and plates, cups and utensils. While we love furry friends, pets are not allowed.
We will be in and out of the common spaces.
We have plenty of parking.
Only booked guests may be on the property. Quiet time is from 10 p.m. to 7 a.m.

I'm married to Mike for 24 years and we have two kids in college. Mike and I like to get outdoors, meet new people and have fun! Mike is retired from the construction field and is a true McGuyver, Peggy is still working in the public relations field. Our hobbies include scuba, motorcycles and boating and restful activities such as reading. We look for inspiration and kindness and feel blessed beyond measure. We are constantly making updates to the space to make it more convenient and comfortable for guests, family and friends. For years we called our home(s) the "Gardner hotel" and then got the lake house and in 2016 and decided to make it official. So we treat it seriously but don't take ourselves seriously.
