Buffalo Crossing is a spacious 1800+ square foot traditional cabin that offers something for everyone and the perfect place for your next family gathering, romantic getaway, adventurous outing, or relaxing Big Bear vacation.

It is ideally located, walk-able to the Moonridge Zoo and Bear Mountain. The incredible list of amenities at Buffalo Crossing includes a dedicated game room with pool table, hot tub, air hockey table, a mudroom with ski racks and electric boot warmers a sledding hill in the dog friendly fenced in yard and much much more!

Imagine having a drink off the living room deck, glancing up at the starlit night sky after a soak in the hot tub, and hearing the night sounds of all the zoo animals.

The cozy living room boasts a traditional brick fireplace, pine beamed ceiling, and an oversized sectional sofa and ottoman.

Downstairs you enter into a skier and snowboarders dream mudroom complete with ski racks and a wall-mounted electric heated boot rack!

The guest bedroom with queen bed is surrounded by knotty pine that gives you the feel of a rustic spa retreat.

The other downstairs bedroom is perfect for kids with a bunk bed and 2 twin beds.

Upstairs the main bedroom has a comfy king bed that you'll only want to get out of to check out the amazing views from the deck.

Outside is an updated clean spa which takes you to the magnificent detached game room complete with pool table, fooseball and air hockey!

Buffalo Crossing is located in a nice and quiet neighborhood. We are not looking to rent this out as a "party house" therefore we do limit renters to over 25 years of age. There are other places in Moonridge and Big Bear for that type of getaway. While we want you to enjoy your time here, the official quiet hours of Big Bear Lake are 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. You may use the spa after 10 p.m. but shhh... :) Check out is 11am- if you stay past 11am my cleaners charge me and so I must charge you $100, unless previously agreed upon. The main renter must be at least 25 years old. The following is what I will send you in a rental agreement and you agree to when renting: AT CHECK IN: The cabin and spa are professionally cleaned the morning of your stay. All linens are washed, beds made dishes put away, bathroom, kitchen and spa are sanitized...etc.. Upon check in please do a look around to make sure everything is to your satisfaction and nothing is dirty or broken. This includes the spa and the washing machine. If there is an issue please report it to me within the first 2 hours of check-in with pictures so you are not responsible for anything such as broken items or dirty spa. This is a NON SMOKING unit. There will be a $300 charge if you smoke in the house. If you smoke on the deck please dispose of your cigarette properly. Big Bear is a fire zone so never throw your butts over the deck or into the bushes. And please try to avoid smoking right by the cabin itself especially if the windows are open. Due to fire hazards, Lighted candles are NOT allowed. BUT I do provide many battery operated candles thru-out the cabin. Main renter must be 25 or over and provide ID with this agreement. This is quiet private residential area of Big Bear Lake with many full time residents. According to Big Bear Lake rules, quiet hour are from 10pm-6am, so please respectful of our neighbors. If the police are called and a fine is levied for noise, it is the renters responsibility to pay. PETS are permitted in rental units only with prior approval. Pet owners are responsible for cleaning up any/all pet refuse. All pets must be up-to-date on rabies vaccinations and all other vaccinations. Heartworm prevention is highly recommended. All pets are to be treated with Advantage or similar topical flea and tick repellent three (3) days prior to arrival. Fleas and ticks are very rampant in this area and can cause harmful/fatal illness to humans and pets. All items above are the sole responsibility of the pet owner. The cabin owners assume no responsibility for illness or injury that humans or pets may incur while on the premises. While there is an enclosed fence- dogs must not be left outside alone, this is the mountains and there are wild animals such as coyotes and bears – so we are adamant, never leave the dog unattended outside for long periods of time. This is important for the protection of your pet. It is also recommended that you are very careful walking your dog from dusk to dawn. As the sun goes down, thru the night and as the sun comes up, coyotes are active. They do travel in packs and have rarely (but can still happen) go after a dog on leash. There are also wild animals such as raccoons, lizards and ground squirrels- we respect their right to the land so please do your best to be sure your pet does not attack these animals. DAMAGE: Renters shall pay a $300 deposit. Renter will be completely responsible for any and all damage to the home or property caused by Renters, whether accidental or due to Renters negligence. However, Renters understand that the rental includes an accidental damage rental policy providing up to $1 million in accidental damage protection provided by AirBnB provided Renters notify the owner and assist the owner in making a claim. Renters understand that Renters are responsible for damage beyond the coverage provided by the accidental damage insurance. Renters are also responsible for damage that would have been covered by the accidental damage insurance if Guests fail to advise the Owner of the damage and provide the necessary information that would allow the Owner to file a claim against the policy. DISHES: We ask that you clean all soiled dishes and put back in cabinet before checkout. If you leave dishes uncleaned and not put away you may be charged an additional fee (charged to me by my cleaners) that would come out of your deposit. SPA/ HOT TUB: You may not put any foreign substance into the spa. This includes, bubble bath, cigarette butts, bath oils, bath salts, cleaners- etc. Perfumes, lotions, deodorants, suntan lotion can disturb the PH balance of a spa so we ask that you please shower BEFORE using. If the spa is found damaged due to foreign objects or the PH balance is off due to not following the above rules and we are forced to drain and fill the spa- you will be charged $100. The spa key must be put back on the kitchen counter and the spa locked. There is a $25 lost spa key charge. No children under the age of 12 permitted in hot tub at any time. When using the hot tub, remember there is a certain health risk associated with this facility. Use at your own risk. Our housekeepers drain, sanitize, refill and replenish chemicals in all tubs prior to your arrival; therefore, it may not be warm until you turn it on and this can take several hours to heat up. . DO NOT STAND ON THE HOT TUB COVERS. Hot tub covers are for insulation purposes and are not designed to support a person or persons. They will break and you may be charged for replacement. Remember when not using the hot tub, please leave cover on and lock so hot tub will stay warm and safe. CANCELLATIONS: 30 day notice is required for cancellation. Cancellations that are made more than 30 days prior to the arrival date will incur no penalty. Cancellations or changes that result in a shortened stay, that are made within 30 days of the arrival date, forfeit the full advance payment and reservation deposit. Cancellation or early departure does not warrant any refund of rent. Big Bear is in the mountains and sometimes bugs get into the cabin: ants, spiders- etc. Due to the nature of Big Bear, finding bugs in the cabin or on the deck is not grounds for cancellation. We of course will send out someone immediately if there are any issues. INCLUSIVE FEES – Rates include a one-time linen & towel setup. Amenity fees are included in the rental rate. NO DAILY HOUSEKEEPING SERVICE: While linens and bath towels are included in the unit, daily maid service is not included in the rental rate. However, it is available at an additional rate. We suggest you bring beach towels. We do not permit towels or linens to be taken from the units. FALSIFIED RESERVATIONS – Any reservation obtained under false pretense will be subject to forfeiture of advance payment, deposit and/or rental money, and the party will not be permitted to check in. WRITTEN EXCEPTIONS – Any exceptions to the above mentioned policies must be approved in writing in advance. PARKING: Parking is limited to 3 vehicles. Vehicles are to be parked in designated parking areas only. There MAY be extra parking on the side of the street next to the house on a first come first serve basis. You cannot park on the side if it snows. Please keep vehicles locked at all times. There is a slight bump from the road leading to the driveway this is so when it rains the deck does not get flooded. If you have a low profile car, try to enter and leave as close to the left side (When facing the end of the parking deck) as possible to avoid scraping the bottom of your car. We are not responsible for stolen items or damage to your car. WOOD STOVE/ FIREPLACE – The Wood stove gets very hot to the touch as it is meant to heat the entire house please use caution. Also be sure to open the flue by turning it parallel with the pipe it is attached to. Use only wood. Do not use duraflame or charcoal or anything other than wood. WATER AND TOILETS –Please DO NOT FLUSH anything other than toilet paper. No feminine products should be flushed at anytime. If it is found that feminine products or any other foreign objects have been flushed and clog the septic system, you could be charged damages of up to two hundred dollars ($200). STORM POLICY/ ROAD/ICE CONDITIONS: No refunds will be given for storms. Mountain roads can be curvy and steep. The roads are well maintained; however, we highly recommend four wheel drive and/or chains during the snow months. Big Bear requires you to carry tire chains in your car during the winter months. We .recommend buying them before coming (as it’s much cheaper outside of Big Bear) We do not refund due to road conditions. The deck can get slippery due to water from the hot tub as well as dew. Please be careful while walking on it. The hardwood floor inside also can be slippery, we recommend bringing rubber soul slippers. When it snows more than 4” we do have a plow service that comes out that takes care of the driveway as well as a path to the deck, and cleans off the spa. There is also a shovel and melting salts for you to use. TRAVEL INSURANCE: We highly recommend all guests purchase travel insurance. If you wish to purchase travel insurance, go to (URL HIDDEN) for details and to purchase. This unit is privately owned; the owner is not responsible for any accidents, injuries or illness that occurs while on the premises or its facilities. The Homeowners are not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables of the guest. By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that all guests are expressly assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of the premises or others whom they invite to use the premise.

Great location! Game room was great for the kids. Host was very accomidating. Price was perfect. We really enjoyed our stay. Definitely would come back and rent again.!

We enjoyed the stay, comfortable cabin and dog friendly. It was convenient and kitchen had everything to prepare meals for eight. The game room and jacuzzi were enjoyed by all, thank you.

Enjoyed every moment in this lovely cabin, so comfortable and relaxing gives the great big bear experience. We definitely got to put the awesome game room and spa to use and couldn't have asked for a better cabin for the price. Looking to try to come back in the winter time.

We really enjoyed Jason's family cabin. We spent a lot of time playing games in the game room and relaxing in the jacuzzi. The location is great. Walkable to the petting zoo and ski lifts. The furnishings could use updating but overall very comfortable and clean. He was a great host that got back to us very quickly about concerns.

I own Milo Bear Cabin in Big Bear and manage 6 other cabins in Big Bear as well!

Been living in LA for years now but always a New Englander at heart. I'm a TV comedy writer and director who now owns my own digital production studio dealing with brands and influencers (And any other buzz words you'd like to throw in) I love the Red Sox, Hartford Whalers (Still miss them) and rescuing animals. I was looking for the perfect getaway home in the mountains and found Milo Bear cabin (named after my cat who passed away a few years ago)

I wanted to be sure people can enjoy this with friends, family and pets so I added a fence to make sure all dogs can safely stay here as well.

I am hoping to travel more so am willing to talk housing exchanges as well.
