Brightly lit spacious bedroom within 15 minutes in any direction to; the City Centre, Fort Kinnaird Shopping Centre & Portobello Beach. Great public transport. Bus stop right outside will take you anywhere (see (URL HIDDEN)
The bedroom consists of a single wardrobe, large office desk & chair, bookshelf & extremely comfortable double sofa-bed.
The flat is situated on the first floor, so there is no need for lift use.
It is situated opposite two fire exits (on the outside) and is the only 2 bed-roomed flat in the block.
It has been moderately adapted for disabled access - so would suit a disabled House Guest, however, it is also very easy and convenient to use for non-disabled Guests.
The flat is spacious with a large living area that doubles as front lounge and breakfast/dining nook. On a clear day, it benefits from its sunny positioning and there is a magnificent view of Arthur's Seat from the front of the flats.
The amenities include; TV with Sky cable, WIFI and landline telephone which is free to use for local calls. There are large windows in every room and powerful heaters for those days when the Scottish chill kicks in!
Guests can access;
-Private set of Inner Front Door Keys (Outer door has a buzzer)
-Shared Living Area (Lounge & Breakfast/Dining)
-Shared Bath/Shower & Toilet
I'm usually around first thing in the morning and during most evenings and am happy to help with your questions or attend to any concerns.
I have regular Physio appointments during the week (due to my disability) so may not be available on some afternoons. However, if you need anything, you can let me know the evening before so I can try to help or leave me a note on the dining table.
Guests are asked to do their own dishes and keep the kitchen, communal lounge, bathroom and their own room tidy - just as they would in their own home!
Hi my name is Anna Marie and I'm a Writer/Journalist, Holistic Therapist & Worship Missionary Pastor living in Edinburgh. My parents are Missionary Pastors and (when I'm not writing/doing a client's facial!) I work alongside them in Church and running our family charity helping women & children in need.
I am a friendly, hospitable people's person, well-traveled and very receptive to people of all faiths, nations & cultures.
I am partially disabled as I have a long term health condition, however, don't let that intimidate you as it doesn't stop me from living a full active life!
Some of my favourite spots in Edinburgh are;
- Royal Botanical Gardens
- Arthur's Seat &
- Portobello Beach.
And other little hideaway's which I can tell you all about should you choose to come stay :-)
