Charming, cottage-like apartment on a quiet street, close to the mountain, St-Laurent and St-Denis streets, 5 mins from Sherbrooke metro, super close to downtown. Could not ask for a better location. Has two closed bedrooms and a nook with a third bed. Sleeps 6 comfortably (7 with couch). Front balcony and rooftop access (with hammock and bench for lounging). Comes with a cat, Oscar, who is very independent and requires no work on your part (he spends most of his time outside). Loves belly rubs!
Likely built in the 1860s, this building tells the story of the history of Montreal and the working-class French Canadians who raised their families here. There are many of the original moldings, however the apartment may be a wee bit smaller than it once was due to the dozens of coats of paint! The rooftop is a great place to have coffee as it overlooks one of Montreal's many charming traits - its alleys!
You have access to everything! Please note that there is no washer and dryer in the apartment, however, there is a laundromat directly across the street.
While I have instant booking, I would prefer a request before you book, especially for stays longer than three days. Thank you!
- Quiet on the rooftop, especially at night
