Hello Tony, thank you for your comment, I will be here answering all the things you commented. 1. When you say "literally hundreds of small useless things", I must remind you that this apartment is called Lodge Poetry-Inn (or Morada Pouso-Poesia in Portuguese.) So, it means that the apto was decorated with objects and utensils all related to brazilian writers, artists, poets and musicians. This includes several famous artists from Belo Horizonte City and other parts of the world, included from North America and Europe, who produced unique pieces of art exclusively for Lodge Poetry-Inn. For you it might even be "useless things", but for many, including us and the other guests that we had, everything in the apartment was thought to cause a unique and enjoyable experience. We even constantly received several comments regarding to the tasteful artworks chosen for the apartment. 2. Yes, periods longer than 5 days require a contract, as stated in the rules of the apartment. This is an unnecessary bureaucracy imposed by the administration of the building (we all know it is to make it more difficult to rent via airbnb). However, all this was said via email, on November 29th, sent to you, days before your stay starts. The process of going to the notary's office to sign the contract was fully paid by us, as we said, and it did not take more than 15 minutes. When we arrived at the administration of the building to complete your registration, it was not possible to do at the time because the employees were at break time (remembering that the administration working hours were passed to you, it is from 08:00a.m to 11:00a.m and from 1:00p.m. to 4:00p.m, and YOU CHOSE 11:00am to go to the notary's office). We schedule a time in the afternoon to complete your registration, which took only 20 minutes. Me and my partner were 100% engaged in completing your registration as soon as possible, as we did. We believe that the time it took to complete your registration (including going to the notary's office) was completely acceptable. We believe that all business travelers will not bother with this registration process. 3. When you say "be prepared that there will be things breaking", I must say that some things, like the dryer that fell on the floor, the problem was your responsibility that inserted several heavy wet clothes, which exceeded the maximum weight of the equipment (as written in the rules for using the dryer in the guidebook). To fix that, it took almost 4 hours, since the wall tiles were removed from the wall with the fall. The repair was done and we did not charge anything from you, even being so expensive. 4. Indeed, the shower was not heating up, and me and my partner were completely available to sort this out. Several electronics technicians were called to verify what had happened and it was detected that it was in fact a problem in the CIRCUIT BREAKER of the building, OUTSIDE the apartment, that is, the responsibility was by the electric company of Belo Horizonte (CEMIG) and was not the heater itself. So we spent more time on something that was not our responsibility and we had to schedule a time with the electric company to solve this, and it was solved. 5. Regarding the reservation for a few months, we said informally with you via (Hidden by Airbnb) , however there was no contract signed or any booking made by you, so, this was not lack of responsibility from our side. We checked a few days later and we came to the conclusion that the rent for the period you requested could not be done, since we had a friend, teacher of Literature, coming from France, and we would warn you right on the day you asked, like we did. 6 When you say: "The windows tremble (probably because of the traffic noise) producing very unpleasant and pretty loud hum, making almost impossible to stay in the room", I must remind you that the apartment is located on the 34th floor, in the highest building in Belo Horizonte, more than 100 meters from the ground. How could you hear traffic noise? The only possible sound to hear in the room is the wind that goes through the window, super low and, nobody so far has complained about it. And if this even bother yourself, you just had to close the windows. 7. We believe that the price that has been offered, even more with a BIG DISCOUNT MADE for you, is still, a way below what the Lodge Poetry-Inn offers. That included all the amenities and the incredible view to Belo Horizonte. How can you complain so much about the apartment and still want to stay for several months?
