Built in 1856, our home retains much of the original character like hardwood floors, staircase and gorgeous entry doors. It has been lovingly updated to include a modern kitchen. The one of a kind master bathroom features a soaking tub and shower open to the room. The trees within inches of the rainfall shower, will make you feel like you are bathing right in nature. We have private parking right at the house for a minimum of three vehicles. This is a serious bonus in this part of town!
This is our "dream" home and we are so happy to share it with you! Everything is provided for a comfortable stay - sheets, towels, kitchen items plus basic toiletries. The modern kitchen is very large and is great for making meals or just hanging out. The dining room is just adjacent to the kitchen and comfortably sits eight. A small staircase leads from the dining room directly to the Master Suite with a unique bathroom plus private balcony - great for your morning coffee! A main staircase leads to the guest areas of the second floor.
Upon your arrival, you will find a Guest Guidebook with things to do and see in town.
Cell service in town can be limited, so please print anything you may need as a backup.
The first two floors of the home are for our guests. The third floor is locked and for storage only.
Guests may arrive at their convenience. I typically contact my guests once during their stay to see if they need anything. I am available via phone, text or Airbnb message 7am-7pm daily. I live only 15 minutes away and can assist with anything our guests need.

Thank you for viewing our properties in Jim Thorpe!
A little about myself. I am now self-employed focusing most of my time on my rentals. In addition to my rentals, I volunteer many hours on the Board of Directors for the Jim Thorpe Tourism Agency. I have a vested interest in the town and want to see many happy travelers and tourists visit our amazing town. I also help with the graphic design and marketing of the town.
When I'm not working on my rentals, I am digging in my organic vegetable garden or tending to my flowers. We also have nine chickens and two turkeys. I often leave some of our eggs, fresh flowers, herbs or veggies for my renters to enjoy. My other passion is cooking. It's one of the ways I can express my creativity, and I enjoy using herbs and vegetables from my garden in unique ways.
You can say I have a "Service Heart". It makes me so happy to know that my guests felt like they just stayed in a friends' home. It's my goal to have rentals that will make my guests come back over and over.
