Our maison-de-maître is situated within the bastide walls of this charming medieval village.
At less than 20 minutes drive from Bergerac airport and a stone's throw from the sun-drenched vineyards of Montbazillac, Issigeac is the perfect base for discovering the stunning Dordogne and Lot-et-Garonne regions.
This tranquil village comes alive on Thursday evenings for the atmospheric marché nocturne, where the community sits along tables in the square beneath the 15th century church to enjoy delicious fare from local food and wine producers. The legendary Issigeac Sunday market draws hundreds of locals and visitors each week.
It is a beautifully light and spacious house with a private garden, with all amenities provided for a very relaxing stay.
We (Grace and Naomi) are recently graduated language students, so can speak French and Italian. We look forward to hosting you!
A generous breakfast with freshly-baked bread is included and – at an additional price – we can also offer picnic hampers for guests to take on day-trips and / or lunch and evening meals at the house, provided we have a day’s notice. If you have any further enquiries or dietary requirements please don’t hesitate to get in touch with us.
We have two bedrooms available, each with double beds, so for groups of four do get in touch to arrange a booking.
