Thank you for your feedback. I certainly wish you had spoken to me. You may recall I walked you through the house and asked you if ever thing was satisfactory, In fact you said, very charming. You arrived during the day and had plenty of time to further explore to determine if you needed to change your response. We walked through each room and lingered in each. I also indicated to you the outside was being painted and the light in the back of property had been removed by the painter. Lights in three rooms are three-way switches . I demonstrated that the lights in the hall , stairway and lower bedroom were duel switches and if switch, for example, at bottom of stairs was up the switch at top of stairs had to be down for lights to turn on or opposite depending where lights were turned on of off. You stated you understood.
In the ad I clearly say guest house, and the pictures are of each room in the guest house. The two houses share the same grounds so the brick walk way to the entrance of property is where you check in for either the main house or the guest house. I do show the main house deck where all guest may relax, if you may recall in the guest house manual it indicates Sunday breakfast is served on the deck at the main house. Both houses are within the compound. There are no pictures or ads that states the main house is for rent, only rooms in main house.
I will double check the areas of concern you mentioned , the carpet was shampooed two days before you arrived and the house is cleaned after each guest.
There are 5 bedrooms and you paid approximately 79.00 for each bedroom (including tax), having used a full kitchen, living room and dinning room, breakfast on Sunday, secure parking on grounds, two decks at guest house, and privacy. That is a good price.
