Updated, beautiful ranch home, nestled in a peaceful neighborhood just outside the heart of Charlotte. Our home is 15 minutes to Uptown, and 1 mile from public transportation (light-rail to Uptown). It is only a couple miles from the many restaurants/bars on Montford Dr. or in Southpark. It is also a quick drive to Noda, Plaza Midwood, and Southend. To top it off, the neighborhood is connected to numerous mountain biking trails, Park Road Park, and the city's main greenway!

We are interested mainly in a long-term rental of this property. We are willing to discuss the details of this more fully upon requesting to book. If you are traveling to the area for work, in the area for a 3-4 month period, new to Charlotte and trying to get an idea of what the city has to offer, renovating your home and need a place to live, or looking to purchase a home after your lease is up, this is the perfect place for you!!

We are dog-lovers and are more than happy to consider those who are wanting to stay here with their fur-baby! We would like to know more about your dog, the breed, age, size etc. prior to approval of pet.

Specifics of the home:

The kitchen was fully renovated in 2016, and the space as a whole is a large, open layout, with large front windows and plenty of natural light throughout the home. The home has three bedrooms, however we will be keeping the 3rd bedroom locked and unavailable for use, as it is currently being used for storage.

The home features two bedrooms and two full bathrooms. The master bedroom in the back of the house has a very comfortable king size memory foam mattress, plenty of dresser space, and two closets. A smaller full bathroom is attached to the room. The second bedroom in the front of the home features two windows, one of which is a beautiful ceiling to floor front window, providing the room with a great deal of natural light. The bed holds a comfortable queen size mattress, and there is dresser space and a closet in the room. It is a few steps down the hallway from the second full bathroom. There is a front and back living room, complete with plenty of comfortable furniture to relax on, a TV hooked up to a Roku stick with multiple entertainment options (ie. Netflix), and a keyboard if you enjoy playing piano.

A washer/dryer is available for use.
The kitchen contains an oven, stove, microwave, fridge, and dishwasher. A french press coffee maker, a hot water heater, numerous pots, pans, dishes, cups, mugs and utensils are also all available for you to use.

There is a back porch, a three-season sunroom, and a back patio with comfortable outdoor seating and a fire-pit for you to take full advantage of, if you wish! The use of the grill is prohibited due to the fact that it is a ceramic grill and not the typical gas grill. Operating this without experience can lead you to self-injury and/or damage to the grill. The back yard shed unit is also prohibited, as this is currently used for storage.

There is dedicated parking for one vehicle under the carport, a second vehicle in the driveway, and street parking is also available.

About the neighborhood:

Our home is in an excellent location in South Charlotte, close to many of Charlotte's prime neighborhoods, excellent restaurants, and fun and unique bars. The house is also conveniently located approximately 1 mile from the light-rail, that leads to uptown Charlotte. There are mountain biking trails attached to the neighborhood, and the city is currently constructing the Little Sugar Creek greenway through the neighborhood. This is a walking/biking/running path that leads directly to Uptown Charlotte. The greenway currently is connected to the peaceful, relaxing Park Road Park that holds other running and biking trails.

Guests will have their own parking space under the car port and a parking space will be available in the driveway. Street parking is available.

We are very familiar with the neighborhood and the surrounding area and will provide you with some recommendations and resources. The neighbors are wonderful and we know many of them well.

As mentioned, we are hoping to appeal to individuals looking for a long-term rental for a few months in early 2018. During the time that I am not working at the hospital and when my husband can get away from the office, we thoroughly enjoy hiking with our goldendoodle June, backpacking, kayaking, and most any outdoor activity.
