The washroom is also brand new from top to bottom. The 3 piece washroom also hosts the new stacked, front-loading washer and dryer. Hardwood floors have been refinished. There is a beautiful backyard patio to enjoy summer nights and fresh air. This modern, new yet cozy home is sure to meet many different guests needs for a lovely stay in the City of Toronto. Danforth Village is a great place for families with kids as there are many outdoor parks surrounding, as well as libraries. Shops on the Danforth can please the discerning traveller in search of a good barista, those looking for some retail therapy or appetites looking for the trendiest restaurants our city boasts! Those wanting to zip into the downtown core can do so at the Greenwood subway station, a short walk away and be in the heart of it all at Bloor and Yonge in 15 minutes. This home is located in a neighbourhood with older homes as well as new builds worth upwards of $1.5 Million CAD.
Accessible areas are main floor of house and all rooms as well as front and back yard and 2 car driveway.
Limited interaction by Host with guests except to answer questions and check in and out.
Please remove your shoes when walking in the house at all times. Please clean up after yourselves and take out your trash when you leave and regularly for extended stays. Use the greenbin for your organics, the blue box for recyclables (glass, paper and plastic) and the regular garbage for all else. Please take garbage to curb on specified day if you're visiting at that time. Smoking is NOT allowed indoors. Parties are never allowed. Guests are not to be invited to the home without the Host's knowledge. Only those who booked and their party as advised to the Host at the time of booking are permitted to spend the night. Business transactions are not to occur in the House. Any babies or toddlers staying must use personal changing pads ALWAYS and dispose of dirty diapers appropriately in sealed bags. Eating is not allowed anywhere but in the Kitchen and on the Dining Room Table. Food is NOT allowed in the bedrooms. Please do not stain the bedsheets. Any stains will incur a cost of a new sheet. When you leave the premises please turn off all lights to keep electricity costs low. Please lock all doors when leaving the house (front and back). Please close all windows when leaving the house. Please use the fan in washroom when taking hot showers or baths or open the window to aerate. Please keep the house clean and tidy. Any excessively dirty guests will incur a penalty charge if the cleaner takes longer than normal (4 hours) to clean house to our standards. Please treat our house as your own with great care.
Lost set of keys will incur the cost of professionally replacing the lock(s) plus an administrative fee of $100. Also will be cost of cutting 4 additional sets of keys that are required.
All guests and future tenants, through your booking, are agreeing to the following for the property located at 57 Leroy Avenue, Toronto, ON:
NO LIABILITY/INDEMNIFICATION/HOLD HARMLESS: Guest(s) and Tenant(s) will reimburse the Homeowners and its property manager, and their respective owners, officers, directors, shareholders, affiliates, agents, employees, and representatives (collectively, “Landlord Parties”) for and will indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Landlord Parties from and against any and all loss or damage sustained by, liability or charges imposed on, and claims or causes of action asserted against, Landlord Parties arising in whole or in part out of or by reason of (i) any accident or occurrence in or on the property at 57 Leroy Avenue, Toronto, ON, Canada (from hereon referred to as “Premises”), any use of or business conducted in or on the Premises, or any hidden or apparent defect in the Premises; or (ii) any damage to or loss of any property of Tenant or any person occupying the Premises or any of their respective guests, family, friends, officers, directors, shareholders, affiliates, agents, employees, or contractors (collectively, “Tenant Parties”), whether this damage to or loss of property occurs on the Premises or on any other part of the Property; or (iii) any act, negligence, or fault of Tenant Parties, whether occurring on the Premises or on any other part of the rental property. Tenant’s reimbursement and indemnity obligations will include, but not be limited to, any and all penalties, assessments, fines, damages, interest, settlement amounts, judgments, losses, reasonable attorneys’ fees, and other expenses, and will survive the expiration or other termination of this Lease.
The owners of the property do not assume liability for the loss, theft, damage or injury (or death) to Tenant Parties or persons or their personal property. Guests and Tenant Parties agree to indemnify and hold the Homeowners and Landlord Parties harmless for any liabilities, theft, damage, cost or expense whatsoever arising from or related to any claim or litigation which may arise out of or in connection with Guests’ and Tenant Parties’ use and occupancy of the rental property, including but not limited to claims for personal injury or property damage/loss.
Guest and Tenant Parties agrees to indemnify and hold Homeowner and Landlord Parties harmless from any liability for personal injury or property damage sustained by Guest and Tenant Parties or parties invited onto the property by Guest and Tenant Parties.
Entire Agreement and Addendum: This Agreement and Addendum constitutes the entire agreement of the parties and supersedes all prior or contemporaneous oral or written agreements concerning this subject matter.

I am a married female living and working in Toronto, ON, Canada. I work in finance. My husband (who comes from France) and I like to travel as often as we can. My family recently expanded again as we welcomed our second baby daughter. Our first is now a toddler! We often travel to Europe where we have family. We are active, enjoy many outdoor activities including camping, skiing, sailing. My favourite foods are international: Indian, Thai, Japanese, Filipino, Greek, Italian, French, with a soft spot for comfort foods! Anything creative will catch my attention. As I host, I am enthusiastic to show you all Toronto has to offer so you fall in love with our beautiful city, where I was born and raised. Toronto has more and more to offer each year and is becoming a bustling cosmopolitain city. I love that we have TIFF (I enjoyed going yearly before becoming a mom and having less time)! Being a foodie, I also love that Toronto has some of the best restaurants and cuisine from all over the world. Harbourfront, where our condo is located, is a great combo of a calm retreat and an active main attraction! The neighbourhood of Harbourfront is very touristic and recently underwent a huge and expensive construction facelift from granite cobbled sidewalks to a new bike/pedestrian path in front of our building extending across the lake, from east to west, over 20 km. Our bungalow in thé Danforth Village is steps away from shops and the subway where downtown is accessible in 15 minutes but also a quiet neighbourhood retreat. Our newly renovated house is calm and relaxing. Our Beaches House offers some of the best family experiences in the city. Steps away from the Beach and Lake, enjoy the hustle of the Queen St shops and restaurants and take the streetcar to Leslieville, Riverdale and Downtown all within 30 min or less. I ask is that Guests respect our property (which we take great pride in) and leave it as you found it. I will do the same for any property I stay in! As a guest, my favourite thing about AirBnB is I get to pretend I am local when I stay in someone's home. It gives me a totally different perspective of the place I am visiting, one I find fascinating as we become part of the community! Carpe diem!
