The apartment is located in a historical building 50 m from the harbour front, 11 steps above the ground floor (no elevator) in the charming and classical neighbourhood Islandsbrygge very close to the city centre.
It comprises a bedroom with a big double bed, a living room with a comfortable daybed that can be made up for sleeping, a kitchen with utensils and a small but well functioning bathroom/wc (see pictures).
The apartment is furnished with classical Danish design furniture, and the rooms has wooden floors and old stucco. The apartment building dates back a hundred years, but the apartments were redone recently with new windows.
The kitchen comes with all amenities and you are very welcome to use everything during your stay.
The bathroom/wc is indeed small, as in many old Copenhagen apartments, but it is quite new and functions very well.
The neighbourhood is one of Copenhagens most attractive neighbourhoods because of its close proximity to the city centre (walking distance to Tivoli and city centre) and the recreational harbour where you can swim. The Islandsbrygge neighbourhood also boasts beautiful old buildings and has a very low crime rate. You will find many good restaurants, cafes, bakeries and food shops (2 supermarkets very close by). The big nature park Amagerfælled is close as well.
You are free to use the washing machine in the kitchen, and I have made room for your clothes in the bedroom.
The house has a courtyard that you can use and the harbour front park is just down the street.
You are always welcome to call me if questions occur.
- No noise after 8pm
- No loud talking in the courtyard after 8pm
- No shoes indoors
Visual artist living and working in Islandsbrygge, Copenhagen.
When you rent my apartment I travel abroad or go live with my boyfriend. No matter what I'm always reachable on my phone - and you are welcome to call should you have any questions.
I love to welcome guests and has travelled a lot myself. Don't hesitate to ask if you would like recommendations for good places to eat or cultural sights to see in the Copenhagen area - I love to share the best places :)
Let me know if you would like to rent the place for a longer period of time. I'm open for suggestions up to 6 months rental period and will be able to give you a good discount, given that you would like to make long stay in Copenhagen.
I'm looking forward to meeting you!
