This is a thoughtfully converted,self contained, open plan space, linked to the main house ,with separate private access via a side gate.

Rudyard's Retreat is a converted double garage measuring approximately 6 metres by 5 metres, with vaulted ceilings and Velux windows finished to a high standard.
This contemporary studio, containing original artwork by local artist, faces west over our garden ,where our 2 Jack Russell's Oscar & Alfie will look forward to meeting you .
The unique space comes with a kitchen including induction hob,mircowave and fridge. Also supplied with a good selection of kitchen utensils, pots and pans.
A vintage school desk ( with original graffiti!) is your dining table and two retro chairs. There are a selection of local maps and guide books along with a doodle book and pens for you to get creative with!!
A black leather sofa faces a red cabinet with a tv connected to Now TV package and several DVDs are supplied, along with some board games.
There is a double bed with feather duvet and Egyptian cotton bedding. There is a small hanging space with coat hangers. A black room divider provides further storage.
USB sockets are available for your devices.
There is also a good sized shower room with toilet and sink.
Some breakfast provisions will be supplied such as tea, coffee, bread, butter, jams and cereals.
There is a private side access, with sensor lights leading you to the entrance.
You will have your own key to come and go as you wish.
Although the studio adjoins our house, guest will have private access, with their own key, so they can come and go as they please
We will always try to meet and great you and share local knowledge and any other information you require. We will respect your privacy but always normally available if needed.
This is a gay friendly, family home, so you may hear children, animals and adults having fun!
There is an adjoining door between our house and Rudyards Retreat, but this is kept locked shut at all times and never used when guest are staying.
I live with husband David and two Jack Russells Oscar and Alfie. We enjoy walking and little trips away. But now days, a glass of wine in front of the tv is very appealing
