Valldemosa1 (in catalan, Valldemossa) is a Spanish municipality located in the western part of the island of Mallorca, in the autonomous community of Balearic Islands. It boasts of 2,027 inhabitants (INE 2012).
The farmhouses, Word of Arab origin, were small rural communities. It is believed that the origin of the village was one of these farmhouses were founded in the Valley by an Arab nobleman called Mussa or Muca, over the years ValldeMussa will become the current name of the town.
