Welcome to Sydhavn in Copenhagen! A lovely, quiet and charming area. Close to transport, grocery shopping and the largest park in Copenhagen.
My flat is small, but convenient. I'm not the greatest decorator - my flat hasn't changed much since I moved in, when I was still a student, but I would definitely say that it's cosy and reflect some sort of personal style. It could probably do with more pictures on the walls though....
37 m2 - not more, not less. It may sound small, but it feels more spacious! It is made up by a fully equipped kitchen - that you are more than welcome to use - a small bathroom, a living room/bedroom and most importantly - a small, but useful balcony! I'm a smoker, so you are welcome to smoke as well - as long as it only takes place at the balcony... Or anywhere else in the outdoors!
I have a double bed to fit two people, but if you can't stand sleeping in the same bed, then I have a fold-out sofa - though it's not nearly as comfortable... Perhaps you should flip a coin for your sleeping arrangements if you are more than one guest.
To be fair, it's quite an old building. The sound isolation isn't the greatest, so I would appreciate it a lot (or my neighbours probably would) if you keep the noise level to a minimum...
And speaking of noise: I play music and you are welcome to use my piano or guitar!
Sorry, no pets allowed.
You have full access to the entire flat. Also, parking is free - if you can find an available spot.
Feel free to contact me on phone or email if you have any questions - if any issues arise or if you simply need advice or suggestions for things to do and see in Copenhagen... I would do my very best to act as your tourist guide!
There is wifi and a TV - if you fancy watching Danish TV channels. Also there is an HDMI cabel to connect with your laptop as well as a converter to fit with Mac. If your laptop is as old as mine and take DVD's, then I have a wide selection that you are welcome to use. But you probably have netflix or something similar - but hey, it's an option!
- Please respect my neighbours and keep it quiet after 22:00
- No parties
- No pets allowed (sorry)
- Smoking only allowed on the balcony
- Check-in and check-out times are flexible!
- Please remember that it is my home - and I treasure it a lot! Treat it with respect and care. If something breaks, please contact me immediately and we will find a solution.
My name is Maj, I'm (currently) 26 years old, and I live in the south west area of Copenhagen. I love living in this area, close to the city centre but nice and quiet. I'm from a very small town, but moved to Copenhagen in 2012 and I've lived in this flat now for almost three years.
I work with events in my daily job. My interests count (playing) music, watching film and tv-shows, cooking - and eating great food, running in the nearby park (still out of shape though), travels and cultural experiences in general.
I'm an honest, social and happy person. Don't know what more to tell :)
I hope you'll enjoy your stay in Copenhagen!
