My wife and I went traveling to London with our 2 young kids, and thought staying in an apartment, as opposed to a hotel would be a good idea.
The apartment we stayed in is one of many in the block managed by a company called Flying Butlers.
The person we dealt with was a lady called Regina, we found her unfriendly and inattentive.
The apartment seems relatively new, and the inside was clean and modern. Unfortunately however that is where the compliments end.
When we arrived there were piles of rubbish dumped outside the door, it made one feel like you were arriving at a third world shack. The rubbish stayed there for the whole duration of our stay, it probably is still there.
The lift did not work, and we were forced to carry our bags and kids up 2 flights of stairs, every day.
The apartment is positioned on a very busy and noisy road, and while we were in London, temperatures were at 30 degrees C. There is no airconditioning so we had to open the doors and windows, which made us feel like we were living on a formula one track 24/7.
We were told to use the fan to cool down by Regina, so we spent a lot of time huddled around it.
The apartment is close to a station, so it has that going for it, by it is very far out of London, and takes at least an hour to Lester Square.
It is quick to Greenwich, but I would rather have stayed in Greenwich, to see the attractions there.
We left 2 days early before the end of our stay and could not recommend it, way to noisy, unfriendly management and too far out of London central.
