Contemporary, sunny brownstone designed to feel like a safe, comforting space while being just 10 minutes from Manhattan.
It's fully furnished with all new furniture. TV with Netflix, HBO, Amazon Prime. The bed is a Queen Size Yoga Bed (4 layered mattress of foam and cool gel which disperses weight evenly and eases pressure points so you sleep in perfect alignment). The windows are 8 feet tall and let in lots of sunlight. The kitchen table in a separate dining area seats 4 people. Desk and Computer. Aero mattress for guests, bar/kitchen island for entertaining or buffet station. Bathroom has no-slam toilet cover and a great rain shower head. From the living room you can see the Carriage House of the Brownstone, which opens up to a private street. A/C unit comes installed, ceiling fan in bedroom.
The apartment faces a one-block-long, dead end street so it's incredibly quiet and private. It's 3 flights up, the neighbors are all lovely, quiet, and respectful- most have lived in the building for over 20 years.
You have access to everything in the apartment. Pans, crockpot, rice cooker, dishes, silverware, Kitchen Aid, baking materials, etc. TV with Firestick, Wifi included.
My husband and I will be out of town, but have hired someone to be available should you need something. We will also be more than happy to stay in touch via text, phone, email, etc to answer any questions. We want you to be as happy as possible!
I love laughing, being active, talking to people, learning, cooking, yoga, and coffee. I love getting lost. I love meeting new people. I love wearing sneakers and cleaning the house with good music on. I am grateful, quirky, and very down-to-earth. I go for a hug over a handshake, and as much as I love living in NYC, I prefer being in big, quiet, open spaces. I am a singer & actor, a teacher, a child-care giver, and a wife. I have more energy than most. I prefer to be up early and in bed early-ish. I enjoy wine and cheese, smoothies and good pizza. :) Life, to me, is about laughing, taking huge, deep breaths, and crying at both the beautiful and the horribly sad things. Making connections with people and experiencing the world are the most important things ever. Being kind, being open, being humble, being brave, giving and openly receiving. :)
