This is my private suite when in Fes. it's a 'Minzah', an independent room on the top floor roof terrace of a house once used as the harem for the adjacent Wassani Palace. Access is via a winding and steep staircase to the top floor, where the room looks out over a private roof terrace with a spectacular view over the Merenid Tombs, resting place of a lost Royal dynasty. The room is spacious, light, and air conditioned. There's direct access to a private, en suite shower room with a wc.
Perhaps the best view in Fes...

I'm rarely available personally because my work as a guide for the Sahara keeps me away for long periods of time, but our house manager, S'Mohamed, offers legendary hospitality and is available 24/7
I've been in Morocco since 1999. I run a small specialist travel agency that regularly leads trips through the Sahara to Marrakech, Mezzanine bar and restaurant in the Fes Medina, and Kasbah Timdaf, in the foothills of the Atlas near Ouzoud.
I'm British, and speak English, French and the local Arabic dialect.
I adore travel, food, and culture.
Dar Rbab was my home and I hope my guests enjoy this beautiful old house as much as I do.
