Once the Duke of Bridgewater's 'Hunting Box' this lovely old Georgian building, opposite the National Trust Park in the heart of Brackley, is the perfect place for a relaxing stay.
The town centre, with it's quaint shops, pubs, restaurants and renowned antique centre, is a short walk away. A full English breakfast is served each morning. We are happy to cater for any dietary needs. Situated near good road and rail networks, London, Bicester Village, Warwick and Oxford are easily accessible.
The guest suite comprises a large double bedroom, with a good sized ensuite. We have a lovely single room available, at £25 breakfast included, if an extra bed is needed for a relative or child. They would use the ensuite and facilities of the master bedroom.
Breakfast is served either in the kitchen or dining room and guests are welcome to access the garden.
Our style is relaxed and informal. We will be on hand if there are any queries or if you need any recommendations. Please feel free to ask!
As we are on the High Street, parking is roadside. This is where we park too! We do not have access to off road parking. Sometimes it can get busy but there may be alternative parking down Pebble Lane, opposite. Usually, places become free on the High Street after 6pm.
- Quiet hours from 10:30pm unless otherwise agreed with us.
- Generally lock-up is 11pm unless otherwise agreed with us.
- If the single room is required, as well as the main double room booking, an additional fee of £20 (which includes breakfast) will be asked for. As there have been difficulties paying for the two rooms at the initial payment stage, please pay on arrival. Thank you.
- We occasionally have guests in the room above you - we will inform you of this on your arrival and they, too, will be informed of the same! Please be considerate with noise (TV etc). Thank you.
You will be receive a warm welcome from us both at Croft House. We love collecting bits and pieces and you will find our home filled with an eclectic mix of old and new pieces...along with plenty of books! We love good food, wine, music and seeing friends and enjoy walking our dog Lottie in the surrounding countryside.
