Chickadee Cottage offers a private getaway, in a country setting, with a fully equipped kitchen.

Located off a quiet country lane, on the Southwest tip of Whidbey Island. A short 10 minute drive from Langley and the Clinton/Mukilteo ferry.

There are several steps down to a bridged walkway to enter the house.
The home has high speed internet and Smart TVs.

KITCHEN:
The kitchen is complete with quality cookware and utensiles, waffel iron, blender, Cuisinart, pannini grill, stick blender, hand mixer, toaster, coffee maker and an outdoor gas grill. If there is something missing, odds are, we have one to loan.

BEDROOM#1:
King size bed

BEDROOM #2:
Queen size bed

BATHROOM:
Shower and jacuzzi tub.

LAUNDRY:
Washer and dryer

WOOD FIRED SAUNA
shared with our other rental, Pine Cone Cabin.

The home is furnished with original artwork made in both our studio and by friends. This property is for mature guests and families.

PETS:
A Pet Basket containing water/food bowls, towels for dying wet pets and balls for playing fetch is available for visiting pets.

PET RULES:
•Pets are not permitted on the beds or furniture.
•Pets left alone must be crated.
•Pick up and dispose of pet waste.

*We have a large loaner kennel if needed.

Although you may not see neighbors, sound travels please be respectful of the neighborhood's peacefulness.
Nestled between the Cascade and Olympic mountain ranges, and surrounded by the water of the Puget Sound, Whidbey Island is covered with majestic trees and views. The south end of the Island attracts artists and writers.
The Guesthouse is located in a quiet rural neighborhood off a gravel drive.
It is a 10 minute drive to Langley and a 10 minute drive to the Clinton/Mukilteo Ferry. The local Maxwelton beach is bike ride away.

WHIDBEY ISLAND is a national scenic treasure featuring Beautiful Langley, with restaurants, antiques, and great coffee. Historic Ft Casey State Park, Ebey's Landing, Deception Pass Bridge, and other distinctive communities such as the historic waterfront town of Coupeville. A beautiful ferry ride to our west is Port Townsend. Further North are the SAN JUAN ISLANDs, and further still is BC, CANADA!

South Whidbey Island has been my home for over 24 years. My husband and I have raised two kids and many pets over this time.

My passions are gardening and cooking. Luckily, I get to garden everyday for my work. I lead a gardening team which maintains/designs private gardens here on the island. My husband is a designer, builder and an artist. Together we designed and built the Cabin. You may notice his handcrafted elements like glassware and sculptures in both the Cottage and the Cabin.

I enjoy hosting and try to create a comfortable guest experience. I pick up my messages regularly and will be able to respond to your inquiry within a couple of hours.

Privacy:
This is a 100% private, stand alone home. We strive to offer guests privacy, that said, we are always on hand through airbnb text to answer questions.

We live on the property a short walk up the Lane. Our glass studio is next to our home. If interested we are always happy to give a tour. We also have a Cabin which we rent on Airbnb. It can be rented along with the Guesthouse for larger groups. Each of our places are separated by large distance and landscaping to add privacy.

We try to quickly meet each guest and make sure everyone is comfortable and answer questions about our Island and home. Beyond that, we give total privacy.
