This is a house full of history. Located in a privileged area, right at the entrance of Havana Bay, The house gives you the feeling of being inside and outside at the same time the historic area. This area has great breezes from the sea. The house itself was built in 1873, but previously used as home was the garage where their stables camping out cars and horses belonging to the garrison of the Royal Prison of Havana and the 5th Battalion Dragons Punta, that’s why the name The Garage
The house retains all its colonial codes. Later in 1925 he added a second level, where in his huge house, inhabited the third president of the Republican Cuba Señor Don Alfredo Zayas y Alfonso. The home has living room, dining room, kitchen, bathroom and two bedrooms with double beds, bathroom with hot water, A/C
From here you can appreciate the Castillo de los Tres Reyes Morro, the fortress of San Carlos de la Cabana (the largest in Latin America) and the small fort of Punta triangle that formed the defense of the capital besieged by pirates. Less than 10 minutes from the house pedestrian you have all the major museums , parks , restaurants and Old Havana full of architectural history and experiential and tangible assets.
