My place is set amongst a lovely leafy garden on a private section backing onto a reserve. It's a 5 minute walk through the reserve to the Main Street of Greytown with shopping and fantastic cafes and restaurants.
My house is about 10 metres away but the barn itself is private and you can come and go as you please. There is a downstairs living area with a kitchenette and adjoining bathroom. Upstairs is a spacious bedroom.
It's heated by a small woodburner and well insulated so it is lovely and warm.
There is a sofa bed in the downstairs living area if needed (in which case please let me know in advance so I can organise the extra bedding). A child would be welcome and toys/books are available. However because I do not have a guard on the woodburner, any child needs to be at an age where this is not a safety issue.
It's a short walk to the local supermarket and the main street of Greytown with all its lovely shops and cafes. Or you're welcome to borrow my two bikes to explore a bit further afield.
I will give you a key on arrival so you can then come and go as you please. There is a space to park directly behind the house.
I will usually be available to welcome you and answer any queries. Otherwise I will leave you to enjoy your stay.
There is no oven in the kitchenette but there is a microwave, two gas hobs, little fridge, toaster and electric jug. There will be bread, butter, jam, muesli, yoghurt and milk available for your breakfast.
I would be happy for you to have access to my washing machine and outside line if I am at home. No drier, but there is a drying rack.
