The "Coast Guard Room" is named after my grandfather who was a Coast Guard Captain on Lake Superior in Upper Michigan. It is your private room/suite in our spacious "guest house" with views of trees and rolling lawns. Private full bath. Private living area with comfy reclining leather sofa, table and chairs and pool table. You have a coffeemaker, toaster, small fridge, microwave. Also a secluded patio all your own as well. All guest rooms are on floors separate from the hosts' master suite, so privacy is a given. Entrance is through garage, down a short hallway, and then down the stairs. Cool off in the secluded pool with an 8 ft deep end and lounge on the comfortable patio furniture shaded by large umbrellas.
Guests have access to the main floor living area, breakfast room, powder room, laundry, and kitchen. The lower level "man cave" and downstairs private patio is exclusively for the use of guests. Guests are invited to enjoy the pool, patio and sundeck.
We are here to be of service and will help guests with any requests for help or info. For guests who like socializing a bit, we enjoy that also; but mostly, we leave you to your own adventures! The idea is to provide you with a sanctuary for good sleep and stress-free lodgings.
We have plenty of secure off-street parking for three cars behind our garage.

I can't live without: Nonfiction books, my grand piano, my Trek road bike, my Significant Others, and black coffee with a croissant :) I'm partial to the Gulf Coast of Florida. I've travelled to Europe many times and would love to go to the home of my ancestors: Finland. I some day hope to go back to Paris for longer than just an overnight stay while on the way to somewhere else in France. I like to compose instrumental piano music when I'm not busy working on updating our house and going through the boxes that have accumulated from our many interstate moves. I'm a decent cook, at least that's what they tell me. Last but not least, I dance in the kitchen while gently holding a glass of champagne.
