Warm, cosy and recently refurbished, Groom’s Cottage is tucked in the folds of the Quantock Hills and close to the fossil-rich beach in Kilve. Perfect for walking, horse riding and mountain biking, it’s only a short walk along our no-through lane and on to the hills and half a mile to the village shop and pub. The cottage sleeps 4 in 2 double rooms, has a new bathroom and an open-plan downstairs. It forms the west wing of our farmhouse whose grounds (loungers and barbq) you are welcome to enjoy.

The comforts of home, with gracious hosts. I was a 1-person guest, and I had oodles of room. Comfortable living area, kitchen worked well. The location is ideal because it's quiet, but, close by you have a great pub, shops, banks and you're easy walk to the Kilve beach. Lovely…

I almost want to keep this place secret! Amazing location, really comfortable accommodation and just the lovliest people and animals you could expect to meet. Excellent local pub too.
