The Farmhouse has retained it's vintage charm enhanced by light flowing into every room. Every nook (yes, there are nooks!) and cranny has details of yesteryear, but all of the modern amenities you want when traveling. Unlike many old homes, our farmhouse boasts large rooms - living, dining, kitchen, 4 bedrooms /2 baths. Your visit will include a breakfast bar with your own full-size refrigerator, a Keurig for various hot beverages, fresh fruit, cereals, toast, yogurt, hard-boiled eggs & juice.
In addition to the interior space, there is a large front yard and garden with a fire pit. There's even a swing!
We have our own living space in the bedroom/family room attached behind the main house. We aren't home a lot, but may see you in passing.
We want to let you know that the stairs to the second floor are steep in the event you have someone who may have difficulty. One queen bedroom is downstairs.
The upstairs bedrooms share one bathroom.
You may use the kitchen appliances, pans and utensils but we ask that you don't use any of the food, spices, etc that are stocked.
Enjoy the yard - there's lots of it! There is a swing on one of the hundred year old tulip trees out front.
In the event you'd have any questions, our phone number will be provided. If we are on-site we'd be happy to help or provide an answer for you. We may cross in the kitchen area occasionally but try to let you enjoy the space without us around. (We get to enjoy it all the time :)
We own 2 dogs but they aren't allowed anywhere in the home except our personal family room. They have never been in the main house so no one need worry if they have a dog allergy.
- We'd prefer if you'd remove muddy or wet shoes when you enter as we have light carpeting - thanks
- Quiet after 11 PM
