The room I am renting is approx. 20m² big and has its own bathroom with toilet and shower. The room is part of a 140m² flat (kitchen, living room, balcony), that you share with two other housemates and one cat. As you can see on the pictures, we also have a big living room with a TV, sofa, dinner table and guitars and books for you to use. The place is close to the city centre and well connected to other districts: U8, M27 (bus), several S-Bahn lines. Local shops only 5 min walk away.
Our flat is 140m² big, has two bathrooms, a kitchen, one huge living room with TV, dinner table, sofa, books and guitars, three bed rooms and a balcony with a beautiful view to the park that is just outside our house.
Your room is the one to the backyard. its quite seperated from the rest as its behind the living room. That makes it very quiet and it feels like your own little apartment within the apartment. It also has its own bathroom with shower and toilet. So you just have to share the kitchen with the others.
The others are two nice (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) who live in the other two bed rooms. Its one guy from the UK and a girl from Karlsruhe. We normally always speak English, but also German, Spanish and some Italian. We also have a cat, named Lenny. Always hungry and up for cuddles.
The living room and the kitchen are obviously for you to use. I will show you how our kitchen system works, what to find where and where you can leave your groceries. Most important, just feel like at home and make yourself comfortable.
The balcony is unfortunately attached to one of the others bed rooms. If he is not in, feel free to go through and sit on it. If the door is closed though, that means its closed for a reason, please respect that.
I am renting my own room, so when you are here I will be not in, but normally I am still in the city, so I'll always be there if you need me. Just call me for any problems and questions.

My name is Dennis, I am 25 years old, born and bred in Berlin and back in that city for a year now. Before, I was here and there, living, traveling, let's call it "checking out" and opening my mind. That included places like Dresden, New Zealand, South America, Mexico and Spain. Back in Berlin, which never left my heart for its creativity, difference, freedom, nightlife and avantgarde, I study history and area studies Asia/ Africa. Besides that I have a part time job at the bar/ reception of a hostel near Warschauer Straße.
I obviously love history(-ies) as it makes me understand our and in the end my life better and makes me change habits from time to time. But I also enjoy politics and good discussions, arts, theatre, humour, curiosity, new wave and electronic music in general and queerness.
For me, any nations, borders, genders, roles and careers (could be continued) are social constructions and therefore I'd rather embrace anything or anybody that/who goes beyond usual boxes.
Respect is the first step to understanding each other.
