Ham Long Hidden Gem stays true to its name, being the needed getaway from the bustling streets of Hanoi, bringing you closer to nature with its eco-friendly design. Hiding in a small alley busted with street vendors, this is the perfect spot to immerse into local's life and observe traditional and religious practices (close to this house is a big Church and an ancient Pagoda, where else can it get more exciting?). Moon catchers/plant lovers would absolutely adore the rooftop.
The house is located on Ham Long street, just opposite to the nearly 100-year-old Ham Long Church. Entering the small alley, you now encouter the distinctive street culture of Vietnam, vendors and buyers hustling, kids hanging around while the old people are playing chess. Keep calm and going through all of that mouth-watering street food shops and you find the Hidden Gem next to a the 18th Century Ham Long Pagoda.
Ham Long Hidden Gem is a 3 story house with, of course, the first floor being the living room and a cozy kitchen. A variety of tea has been selected and ready for your pleasure, please feel free to brew it and let us know what you think, I may be further customize based on your preferences. For entertainment, you can take out the Uno cards, or that Vietnamese crazy horse-racing games, I promise, there is plenty fun to kick ass in a wild race.
The bedroom and bathroom are on the second floor. Make it your home and rest, you will need plenty of energy to visit the charming city of Hanoi.
The rooftop is my personal favorite part of the house. A quiet spot to calm your mind and revive your strength. The view from here is directly to the Pagoda, where you can see the graceful architecture of 18th century Vietnamese religion. You can hear the wind ruffling through the leaves in this bucolic setting. If you enjoy gardening, lend us a hand and water the plants. I would very much appreciate.
