Victorian Upper Villa

Entire first floor of a detached victorian house. Fully equipped apartment with home from home amenities.

Situated in Grange residential area of Edinburgh.
Private driveway parking.
Good transport links to city centre within 25 minutes.

2 large double bedrooms
1 king size bedroom

1 shower room and 1 bathroom with bath
Large living room with dining area off.

Kitchen - dishwasher, washing machine and 2 double ovens. All standard appliances.

Satellite TV and wifi.


Our apartment is very spacious compromised of 3 large bedrooms, a huge living room, large hallway and modern kitchen.

There also 2 large bathrooms.

Our beds are all large and range from double to super king in size.

The living room has large comfortable seating, a HD Tv with access to satellite television

We have used high quality furnishing and good quality appliances throughout as we want to make sure our guests stay somewhere that we would like to stay!


You will have access to the top floor of the villa only and no access to the garden. We do not allow parking on our drive, there is on street parking which is free.


Guests have use of the entire upper Villa. We live in the lower Villa, beneath.

Please leave any laundry bags marked Air Managed outside the apartment door.

Please do not bring these into the apartment. These are to be collected.

No smoking, vaping, candles or incense burners permitted.

Please clean your dishes and leave them to dry and place any waste in the bin such as leftover food etc.

Please do not use items in cupboards which are personal belongings such as clothes, jewellery etc.

Towels provided must not be used for removal of makeup etc

No parties, outside visitors or overnight guests without prior approval from your host.

Do not engage in illegal activities. If you break or damage something, please let us know and arrange for its replacement or repair.

Garbage should be removed regularly to prevent smell and so as not to attract pests.

No access to property gardens unless stated in guest access.

This is a lovely spacious apartment in an the exclusive leafy area of the Grange Edinburgh - would fully recommend and it has the added bonus of being able to easily park in the street.

Sarah was a great host, she kept in touch during our stay, nothing was too much trouble for her, she was very prompt in replying to emails and texts. Check in was excellent, no delay and in fact Sarah was most accommodating with check in and check out, I would have no hesitation in recommending her or her apartment. The apartment was located in a very peaceful area with easy and regular access by bus to the City Centre the bus stop is a 3/4 minute walk from the property. Taxi from the Airport was £21.50 and from Edinburgh City Centre was £7/£9 depending on where you were in the city. Bus fare was £1.60 or a £4 all day ticket which covered the tram also in the City Centre. There was a mini market right at the bus stop with an Off Licence and a Post Office directly across the road from there The apartment was really spacious which gave us (a party of 5) a sense of privacy within the apartment. The apartment was accessed by steps at the side of the house but once inside the apartment was all on the one level. The 3 bedrooms were very big with very comfortable beds. The two bathrooms were also very spacious with a beautiful big powerful shower in one and a bath in the other. There was a toilet in each bathroom also and towels supplied as was liquid soap. There was always hot water. The sitting/dining room was really spacious with a large television - cable TV. Lots of channels available. Looking out front of building view of Observatory on the hill and back of house a lovely garden which was lit a night and although you did not have use of the garden it was lovely to look out onto. The kitchen was extremely well equipped with double electric ovens, double fridge, microwave, electric hob, toaster, dishwasher, loads of cutlery, delph, glass and cooking utensils if you wanted to cater for yourself. There was even dishwasher tablets and washing up liquid and dishcloths/tea towels. This is the best apartment you could wish for and a host to match. Out of 10 I would give 10+

This was a beautiful place to stay! We visited during the fringe and it was lovely to stay somewhere that was a little detached from the chaos of the city centre!

this place is amazing, big and clean. I love the details on the living room ceiling a lot. nice neighborhood and walkable distance to the city center.

The apartment is extremely spacious & charming, loads of room for 3 couples with 2 separate bathrooms, one with a very large & powerful shower. Huge windows, high ceilings with ornate cornices, lovely old style charm, big comfortable beds. It's all self-contained & very clean. Excellent communication from the host throughout. An easy short bus ride from the city centre, the apartment is located in a very upmarket quiet residential area, close to Blackford Hill & the Observatory.
